Broncos Blast Buccaneers 43-13
TAMPA, Fla. -- The Denver Broncos are off to a 2-0 start in the 2020 NFL thanks to a career day by second year quarterback Kyler Murray.

Murray passed for 255 yards and a career high 4 touchdown passes and Denver defeat Tampa 43-13.

Courtland Sutton led the Broncos in receptions and yards with 6 catches for 85 yards and scored two touchdowns. Murray's other two touchdown passes went to Emmanuel Sanders who had 3 catches for 39 yards.

Denver's running got back track behind Royce Freeman's 108 yards on 19 carries. Both Phillip Lindsay and Theo Riddick left the game with injuries in the first quarter leaving just Freeman and rookie Stephen Carr as healthy half-backs. Carr flashed some potential with a 67 yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter and finished with 8 carries for 89 yards.

Riddick suffered a broken wrist and will be out 4-6 weeks, Lindsay should be available next week.

Von Miller led the defense with an all round performance that included a sack a forced fumble and an interception. Trayvon Mullen also had an interception, his first of the season.

The Broncos will have a short week before their third straight road game Thursday night against the New England Patriots.

Broncos Win Thursday Thriller 37-33
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- With game tied at 30-30 and less than 2 minutes to play the Denver Broncos defense held the New England Patriots to a field goal.

Trailing by 3, Kyler Murray and the Broncos offense had 1:39 to get at least a field goal and force overtime.

Murray hit Courtland Sutton on back to back completions of 16 and 36 yards that had Denver with ball on the New England 14 yard line. From there it was all Royce Freeman.

Freeman caught a 10 yard pass and finished off the drive with a four yard touchdown run with 18 seconds left giving the Broncos a 37-33 win.

Murray passed for 361 yards, two touchdowns and rushed for 33 yards and a touchdown.

Courtland Sutton had a game high 125 receiving yards and scored 2 touchdowns for the 2nd straight week.

Freeman struggled rushing for most of the game gaining just 29 yards but had the go ahead TD. Phillip Lindsay carried 13 times for 58.

Von Miller keyed the Denver defense with 3 sacks, Aqib Talib and Josey Jewell tie for the team high tackles with 12.

Denver will finally play in front of their home fans as they host the rival Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.
