Week 1 - Seahawks(0-0) @ Broncos (0-0)

Seahawks Defense Leads the Way in Week 1
DENVER -- The start of the "Case Keenum Era" seemed more like the "Case Kennum Error" for the Denver Broncos.

Keenum threw three interceptions, one of which Bobby Wagner returned 73 yards for a touchdown, and the Denver Broncos dropped their season opener 30-16 to the Seattle Seahawks.

Russell Wilson completed 18 of 25 passes for 156 yards and a touchdown and Mike Davis led the Seahawks in rushing with 86 yards and a touchdown.

Keenum threw for 273 yards completing 24 of 37 passes. The Broncos backfield was led by a pair of rookies with Royce Freeman getting 13 carries for 86 yards and Phillip Lindsay carrying 11 times for 47 yards with Freeman scoring the Denver's lone TD.

Denver will look to improve their overall performance next week when they welcome the rival Oakland Raiders(0-1) to Mile-High Stadium.

Week 2 - Raiders @ Broncos

McManus Nails 63 Yard Field Goal to Seal Broncos Win
DENVER -- Broncos kicker Brandon McManus hit all three of his field goal attempts including an almost NFL record tying 63 yarder that sealed Denver's first win of the season 23-13 over the Oakland Raiders.

Case Keenum completed 30 of 48 pass attempts for 329 yards and his first touchdown as the Broncos quarterback, more importantly he cut in interception total from three in week one to none in week two.

Emmanuel Sanders was Keenum's top target with 10 receptions for 124 yards and a touchdown. Rookie Courtland Sutton caught 8 passes for 101. The Broncos run game was largely bottled up by the Raiders with positive runs being negated by a penalty. However, rookie Royce Freeman found the end zone for the second straight week.

Penalties could have easily cost Denver the game had the completion been stiffer as the Broncos were flagged 14 times for 150 yards.

After no sacks or turnovers in the loss to Seattle the Broncos defense turned things around led by Von Miller who recorded his first two sacks of the season and Darian Stewart snagged his first interception of the year. Brandon Marshall led Denver with a game-high 14 total tackles.

The Broncos face their first road test of the season next Sunday as they travel to Baltimore to face the 0-2 Ravens and their Rookie QB Lamar Jackson.
