Let's Go Craws! An Impossible Rhode Island Tech Dynasty

Craws Look Slightly Not As Bad, Still Lose Badly

October 26

Rhode Island Tech -- 14
Louisiana Tech -- 52

Well, this game wasn’t as bad as the recent ones, but it still wasn’t good. I think part of our terribleness is on me, which I did kind of expect seeing as this game isn’t easy for me to begin with. It was nice to finally see the run game work for me while I was playing. I just can’t wait to finish this season and get to next season because of all the recruits we got. We should only really be lacking at wide receiver, but still we should be better next year. As for this game, though, pretty bad, but not the worst. The team kind of showed a little improvement, but not much else really to be said. Hopefully we don’t get mercied by Duke next week.

Team Stats:
Rhode Island Tech:

Rushes - Yards - TDs: 21 - 37 - 0

Once Again Craws Lose Big Time

November 2

Duke -- 59
Rhode Island Tech -- 7

What a not suspenseful game. Once again everything that has plagued this team reared its ugly face onto the field. Kingsly’s terrible passes, a collective effort from the receivers to drop any good pass, a crappy showing from the offensive line, and straight up crappy defense. Sorry for the bad language, but gosh darnit this is almost getting old. No, wait, it is getting old. Maybe next week I’ll get into the second half of the first quarter against #8 Clemson.

Not Quite As Bad, Clemson Still Dominates

November 9

Rhode Island Tech -- 7
#8 Clemson -- 63

I know it looks just as bad, but I made it to late second quarter. It’s like I can only play good against Wisconsin and Clemson. Kingsly had minimal bad throws, the receivers had minimal drops, the run game was not quite as terrible, and the defense held up a little better than usual. I don’t know, really, what it is, but it was a heck of a lot more fun, I’ll tell you that. I also am very excited to show off the amazing recruiting this year. Spoiler alert, only four scholarships are left to be given out. Again, though, this game against Clemson showed improvement.

Team Stats:
Rhode Island Tech:

Rushes - Yards - TDs: 19 - 36 - 0
Passing Yards - TDs: 340 - 1

I plan on posting the last three weekly recaps tomorrow so that the full offseason can be posted on Tuesday and then the 2014 season can start Wednesday. If you want to name a recruit I would like it to happen ASAP. If nobody wants to then I'll just re-name them myself.

Auburn Destroys RIT

November 23

Rhode Island Tech -- 13
#15 Auburn -- 73

Again I find myself in a situation where we stink. This one didn’t feel quite as bad, mainly defensively, as usual. Still not as good as the Clemson game overall, but it wasn’t as bad as most of the games, like Duke or Boston College. Kingsly cannot find his mark, though, and that’s the bottom line. I HOPE he gets it together for next year because he’s gonna have to be our QB again next year. Hopefully he gets a generous boost in offseason training. Really not much different to say about this game. Sadly Newman Triffler is suffering from major back spasms and will likely miss the remainder of the season. He was having one of his best games of the season too, but the senior has now played his last game in a Crawfish uniform. Now let’s see how we do against Cal.

BREAKING: RIT QB Kingsly Harbord Tear Abdominal

November 30

Rhode Island Tech Crawfish quarterback Kingsly Harbord suffered a torn abdominal in today’s game against the Cal Golden Bears. He will be done for the year as it is usually a four week recovering process for the injury. Vincent Lemawnoper took his place and is expected to be the starting quarterback next week at TCU.

Crawfish Lose On Senior Night...Badly

November 30

Cal -- 70
Rhode Island Tech -- 14

Oh man what another terrible game. There isn’t much I can say that isn’t repetitive from the other posts. Kingsly got hurt and is done for the season as you already know, but not much else interesting happened. The funny thing is he was actually doing pretty decent up until the point of his injury. I got a rushing touchdown with Hambel Jibilator from the half inch line, then got utterly dominated until the mercy rule. One more painful week until next year. Let’s put it all out there next week against TCU.
