You know I really appreciate the kind words. It really makes me feel better about the process. I kind of just wanted to make a fun series similar to Blackjack XXI Sports Festivus series (which you should check out on his YouTube, it is hilarious) and it's been loads of fun. Oh and, yes, the fact that Knickerbocker got a contract at Rice had me laughing. I was surprised we didn't fire him in the first place, but then that happened and I couldn't handle it lol.

Also I haven't been active on this forum for the last half week because I was a tad burned out, but a post is in the works and should be up within the next hour.

West Virginia Proves Too Tough For RIT

September 20

West Virginia -- 46
Rhode Island Tech -- 14

By no means was this a good game. But to be quite frank the defense played pretty dang well. They only gave up 22 in the first half, which for us is really good, and all game it seemed the defense came up clutch. No one played better on defense than Waivickley Predeen. He had two picks, and one was a pick freaking six! He also had a deflection, and it seemed he was constantly covering guys who dropped balls. His presence was felt the entire game. Overall the defense did play very good. As for the offense, it was bad. Kingsly played pretty bad up until being injured. Now he and Captain Jiggyigyigy, who was injured last year and is out for the rest of his senior year, are both out which is terrible for this offense. We are in a world of hurt without them. I will say we did actually score a TD in the sim, and the defense only gave up eleven points in over two and a half quarters. Still a lot to be desired, and our next three games are against top ten opponents.

Washington Shows Domination In Blowout

September 27

Rhode Island Tech -- 0
#8 Washington -- 73

This was very reminiscent of last year, just without Kingsly. And then losing both Axel and Berevian at running back, the odds were stacked against me. The defense did not play terribly considering we were up against a 99 overall offense, but still they obviously didn’t get the job done. I’m just happy I’ve gone back to back games of making it into the second half. Granted both games I was quickly thereafter mercied, but still a plus. Both Axel and Berevian will be back for next week, and Kingsly only has four more weeks of recovery which is nice. I would say something like ‘Hopefully next week we get our act together, but considering we are going against #5 Penn State I highly doubt anything will help.

Team Stats:

Not quite as good as last year's, at least I don't think, but still should help us fill some positional needs going into next year

Let's Go Craws! An Impossible Rhode Island Tech Dynasty

Rhode Island Tech Drops Another Game

October 4

Rhode Island Tech -- 17
#5 Penn State -- 38

Another pretty not good game for the Craws. Defense didn’t feel as good while playing with them. The funny thing is, though, that I left the game down 31-3, meaning the defense held them to 7 points for about fifteen minute (I play on nine minute quarters and simmed out at about 6 minutes left in the third). And my offense feels real bad without Kingsly, but they scored two TDs while in the sim! I didn’t even score a TD while playing. I think the read option is my best bet, and using it with a fullback in seems to make it even better. It’s all trial and error, and having a terrible team like the Crawfish is going to find more error than anything else. Luckily we have two more preseason ranked opponents left.

Team Stats:
Rhode Island Tech:

Rushes - Yards - TDs: 24 - 61 - 1
Passing Yards - TDs: 247 - 1
Total Offense: 308
3rd Down Conversion: 4-18 (22%)
4th Down Conversion: 3-3 (100%)
2 Point Conversion: 0-0 (0%)

2 Point Conversion: 0-0 (0%)
Red Zone - TD - FG: 9 - 5 - 0

Player Stats:
Rhode Island Tech:
Passing:

Death Valley Too Hostile For Craws

October 11

Rhode Island Tech -- 3
#3 LSU -- 69

This game was pretty reminiscent of last year. Offensively there were glimpses of good play. Lemawnoper had some terrible throws, some of which were probably my fault, but then he would make a perfect throw for a first down. Read options are our best bet, especially considering our quarterbacks have terrible arms. The only thing is the terrible speed and acceleration from pretty much everyone makes it hard to run, including Axel Rod. As for defensively it was pretty bad. Waivickley did have an interception to set the team season and career record for most interceptions which was pretty cool. Lot of improvement needed in order to be a good team, and it was evident in this game.

Team Stats:
Rhode Island Tech:

Rushes - Yards - TDs: 21 - 86 - 0
Passing Yards - TDs: 199 - 0
Total Offense: 285
3rd Down Conversion: 5-17 (29%)
4th Down Conversion: 0-1 (0%)
2 Point Conversion: 0-0 (0%)
Red Zone - TD - FG: 2 - 0 - 1
INT - Fumbles Lost:4 - 0

#3 LSU:
Rushes - Yards - TDs: 50 - 257 - 3
Passing Yards - TDs: 424 - 5
Total Offense: 681
3rd Down Conversion: 9-14 (64%)
4th Down Conversion: 0-0 (0%)
2 Point Conversion: 0-0 (0%)
Red Zone - TD - FG: 7 - 4 - 2
INT - Fumbles Lost: 1 - 0

Player Stats:
Rhode Island Tech:
Passing:

Vincent Lemawnoper: 17-49, 199 YDS, 4 INT, 34% Comp.
Rushing:
Axel Rod: 10-27
Vincent Lemawnoper: 9-52
Receiving:
Xavionathon Cortacious: 5-92
St. John Allenfrod: 5-48

Dresmand Koala: 9 TACK
Drolexander Kreaman: 8 TACK, TFL
Borous Chincky: 6 TACK, 2 TFL, SACK
Waivickley Predeen: 2 TACK, INT

#3 LSU:
Passing:

Joe Burrow: 15-22, 303 YDS, INT, 68% Comp.
Myles Brennan: 2 TD
Rushing:
Lanard Fournette: 21-117
Clyde E. Helaire: 13-101, 3 TD
Receiving:
Justin Jefferson: 8-207, 3 TD
Jonathan Giles: 4-53, 2 TD
Defensive:
Glen Logan: 6 TACK, 3 TFL
Michael Divinity Jr.: 4 TACK, TFL, SACK, INT
Kary Vincent Jr.: 4 TACK, INT
Kristian Fulton: 3 TACK, INT
Grant Delpit: 2 TACK, INT, TD

Once again Waivickley Predeen picks of a pass.
