Re: #SWARM - RELOADED

Looks pretty even on paper, but I don't think they have enough juice on offense to keep up with the Swarm.

It's gonna be an exciting year!

Thanks for commenting guys! Boise game out soon enough.
Is it possible to Draft NCAA 14 Classes into Madden 15? Or was Madden 25 the last Madden to do that?

25. I'm looking at grabbing 20 or 21 and just creating some players in every class.

423, 5 scores for B.J. as Swarm move to 2-0

Report by Isaac Robinson | September 20th, 2020

Career days for Henderson, Monroe -- Questions on defense -- Kalispell's Cohen slams Barkley, Henderson for acting "bush league"

Henderson led the Swarm to another win last night

Westlake, OH -- "This was expected," said B.J. Henderson after he led Westlake State to a 45-21 win over the Kalispell Warhawks. "We're not playing games this year." Henderson sure isn't. Riding the momentum of a 363 yard, 4 TD game in Week 2, the senior came out and set a career mark for passing yards, with 423, and threw 5 touchdowns.

It wasn't one-sided all the way, as both teams scored 14 in the first quarter, with Hakim Johnson nickel and diming the Swarm up and down the field, as the defense struggled to generate any pressure. The Warhawks kept pace, even briefly leading 21-14 before the Swarm equalized with Henderson's third touchdown pass of the first half.

But then Johnson, feeling pressure for the first time all game, threw a bad pass into the flat near junior corner Terrance Olson, who was all over it, getting his first interception and returning it to the Warhawk 24. B.J. Henderson proceeded to find Barrett Miller up the seam for a touchdown to make it 28-21, and the Swarm never looked back.

Turning point

Kalispell wouldn't score again. While Henderson only threw one more touchdown pass, his counterpart Johnson seemed rattled, and didn't get much going in the second half, throwing another pick and ending up with just 173 passing yards on 23 completions.

Kalispell head coach Amir Cohen wasn't happy with Barkley for leaving Henderson in all game, slamming the pair as "bush league stat-padders." Barkley declined to fire back at Cohen, saying that the win was all that mattered.

There are two big questions for this team, with the first being the offensive line. Henderson was sacked 5 times, and constantly faced pressure.

Henderson beats the blitz to find Robert Coley

The other big question following this game remains the defense. It's anyone's guess which version will show up: The version that allowed Kalispell to score 21 points in just over a quarter, or the version that shut them out the rest of the way? They'll be buoyed next week at Illinois with the likely returns of Jeremy Jackson, who was held out as a precaution this week, and linebacker Nick Watts, the team's leading tackler in 2019.

Top Stories

Clutch! -- Senior Joe Jones leads Penn State to a huge 49-40 win over Big Ten rivals Minnesota, passing for 374 yards and 5 scores while completing 21 of his 23 pass attempts.

Cardinal Rising -- Last year's #1 recruit, QB Jake Palmer, has the Stanford Cardinal sitting at 3-0 with 608 yards and 8 scores through 3 games, along with 3 rushing touchdowns. Could he bring Stanford back to the top of college football?

New Leader -- B.J. Henderson was the preseason Heisman favorite, but his odds have risen as LSU's freshman stud Earl Thompson has become the new frontrunner. Thompson has thrown for 1112 yards and 13 scores, with 200 rushing yards and 5 more scores through 3 games. He could become only the second freshman ever to win the Heisman.

Y3 G3 Preview - @ #10 Illinois

Coach Barkley's Take

This is going to be VERY tough. Illinois were a top 5 team last year, and they've got an unreal freshman QB in Noah Fields. He can run, he can throw, and most importantly, he doesn't make mistakes. He's got weapons too: great route runners with great hands. Courtney Wright is the only deep threat though, so expect a lot of short to intermediate passes. A.J. Harris and John Banks are good backs, both can do damage.

Defensively, we should be able to tear them up. They don't have any real stars, and if we spread them out, we'll be able to complete passes. Our O-line is obviously a concern, but their D-linemen are run stoppers more than pass rushers.

This is a huge matchup. We can get into the top 25 if we win here, and show the CFB world that we're serious.
