He is solid. For the most part, I am playing a more run style offense so he isn't asked to throw 50 times a game and I am doing a better job of not forcing bad throws. I just have to hope he stays healthy cause he is a 78 OVR with 81 AWR and 85 THP/78 THA. My backup is a 67 Overall, with 64 AWR and 72 THP/79 THA..

Thanks for checking in.

BEARS HAND VANDALS ANOTHER LOSS!!

Idaho rushed the ball 44 times and won the TOP but managed just 106 yds on the those 44 carries and picked up just 3/15 on 3rd down.

North Colorado, ran the ball 29 times but managed 209 yds due to a 74 yd run by Tromaine Dennis in the 4th Quarter.

The Bears led (10-0) at the half as Dennis scores the first of his 2 TD's and D. Eden continues his strong season with a 49 yd FG.

UNC opened up the 2nd half with another Eden FG (32) before Idaho finally got on the scoreboard as QB M. Petrino scores on a 3yd run to make it (13-7). UNC though would extend the lead to (20-7) as backup RB C. Rettick scores from 3 yds out.

In the 4th, QB Sean Lobato went to the air and found Will Jefferson JR on a 23 yd score to make it (27-7). Idaho then had to settle for a 39 yd FG before Dennis broke off the 74 yd TD run to make it (34-10) with 5 minutes to play in the game. Again Idaho was forced to settle for a 44 yd FG with less then 2 minutes to play and hopes to recover the onside kick but the Bears were ready. UNC would just run out the clock for their 4th win of the season.

FINAL SCORE UNC-34 IDAHO-13

The Portland State Vikings are probably hoping they can go back to Div 1-AA after this one.

In the 3rd Quarter SR PK D. Eden added a pair of 21 yd FG's which could've made this thing even uglier.

Backup QB Tanner Tanick saw his first action of the season completing 5/8 pass's for 75 yds, well backup RB C. Rettick led the team in rushing with 18 carrires for 91 yds including 2-4th Quarter scores.

BEARS LAND 4 COMMITMENTS IN WEEK 8

Coach Ed McCaffrey and his staff got off to a solid start this recruiting season. Armed with 25 scholarships as they look to replace a roster loaded with 28 Seniors, including some major pieces to their offense, the Bears came away with at least 3 potential starters.

RB Gene Sledge from Thornton Colorado is the prize of the class so far. The 6'2 209lb power back was labeled a 3* by SparQ Recruiting and was the #299 Overall Recruit in this year's class and the #33 RB.

Sledge had scholarship offers from Northern Arizona as well as Colorado State and Air Force.

With the top 3 RB's on the Bears roster all set to graduate, Sledge could easily be the #1 back next year and will compete for that role against RS JR Robert Holland (69) and RS FR Darius Graham (65) next season.

Sledge is projected as a 71 Overall.

QB Jared Robbins from Albuquerque Nex Mexico is also a 3* according to SparQ is the #397 Overall Recruit and the #25 QB in this year's class.

Listed at 6'4 240lbs, Robbins is still known for his mobility and running ability as he posted a 4.6 "40". Robbins is projected as a 68 Overall.

Robbins is expected to challenge for the starting role next year with current Redshirt QB Sean Rubalcaba.

Bobby Timmons is a 6'5 296lb Offensive Tackle from Glenpool Oklahoma. Listed as a 3* and the #393 Overall Recruit and the #16 Tackle in the class.

Timmons had scholarship offers from Kansas, Air Force, and Northern Arizona

He is expected to challenge for a starting role at RG or RT next year, as a 68 Overall.

Beau Alston is a 6'6 278lb Center from Durango Colorado. Listed as a 3* and the #1413 Recruit in the class, Alston was considered to be the #34 C in this year's class.

Beau had scholarship offers from Colorado State and Utah. He is projected as a 68 Overall.

BEARS RUN ALL OVER EAGLES!!

Senior Tromiane "The Train" Dennis ran all over the EWU defense today as he doubles his season touchdown total by scoring a school record 4 TD's.

UNC got on the scoreboard first as QB Sean Lobato found backup TE turned WR W. Lolotai on a 2 yd score to make it (7-0).

EWU would make it (7-3) on a 42 yd FG by K. Miller but with 1:54 to play Dennis would score the first of his 2-1st half scores.

Despite 3 INT's in the first half by QB Sean Lobato, the Bears would take a (21-10) lead into the locker room.

Lobato would make up for his early INT's by throwing 2 TD's in the 3rd Quarter finidng Lolotai again from 7 yds out and then with 1:19 to play in the Quarter he hits TE A. Wilbers on a 7 yd score as well to make it (35-10) as we head to the 4th.

EWU would cut the the lead to (35-17) on a A. Vitto to C. Mitchell score, but another pair of touchdowns from "The Train" including a 7 yd score with 27 seconds to play seals the deal.

FINAL SCORE UNC-49 EWU-17

KEY PLAYERS

RB T. Dennis-37 carries 179 yds 4 TD
RB C. Rettick-7 carries 29 yds

Man Dennis has been a monster for you this season, it's interesting to see you in a more run-style approach! Looks like a really solid season this year, could see you sneaking into an at-large BCS bid if you keep playing like you are.
