Motor City Sports: Detroit Lions. Madden 21
GM and Head Coach Search:
The Detroit Lions have announced they will add former player Chris Spielman to be a full time advisor role to Team President Rod Wood and Owner Sheila Ford Hamp. Detroit had also announced they will bring in a few people as advisor roles for the Searches; former Cardinals GM Rod Graves, former MSU AD Mark Hollis, Hall of Famer and Lions legend Barry Sanders, and Lions VP Mike Disner. The first move they made was to hire Rams director of college scouting, Brad Holmes, as the teams next General Manager. Holmes and the Lions announced they had hired Saints TE and Assistant Head Coach, Dan Campbell. Campbell was a former Lions player, and is known as more of a players coach than a X's and O's guru. He has experience as an interim HC where he went 5-7 with the Dolphins prior to getting hired as a TE coach with the Saints. Re: Motor City Sports: Detroit Lions. Madden 21
Be Interested in following this. In Madden, how would you go about getting all the moves to work correctly? I am assuming it might be able to be done on the PC version vs. the Console versions?

Re: Motor City Sports: Detroit Lions. Madden 21
I’m on Xbox one. Used “force win” to make the correct season results. I had to create an offline franchise to make the correct HC moves by creating other new coaches. I had to use existing coaches to allow for some of the proper trades to be made. I had to adjust some of the contracts to make the trades go through, then correct the contracts after the trades. I only have the Stafford-Goff trade as of now. I’m going to be starting after the Super Bowl. So unless the Wentz move is made shortly it might not match what actually happens. Re: Motor City Sports: Detroit Lions. Madden 21
2020 NFL Recap:
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers became the first team to host the Super Bowl and Tom Brady is still the GOAT as he was able to hold off Patrick Mahomes and the KC Chiefs. KC Andy Reid announced his retirement after the Super Bowl loss and the Chiefs announced Eric Bieniemy as his replacement. Sea Pete Carroll also retired and Seattle will bring in Doug Pederson who was recently fired from Philadelphia. The Jacksonville Jaguars will hold the 1st overall draft pick with Urban Meyer making his NFL debut. Detroit hired Dan Campbell as their Head Coach who had an interesting press conference that got many people talking about Detroit. He has some experience as an interim HC with Miami, but this will be his first time as a Head Coach without the interim status. Robert Saleh to the Jets, Arthur Smith to Atlanta, David Culley in Houston, Brandon Staley to Chargers, Nick Sirianni to Philly, and Bieniemy in KC will also make their Head Coaching debuts this upcoming season. Re: Motor City Sports: Detroit Lions. Madden 21
Offseason- Free Agency:
March 2021- The Rams and Lions made a blockbuster trade; Stafford is sent to LA for Goff, 21 3rd, 22 1st, and 23 1st. The Lions will enter free agency with $22M in cap space. The RB room currently has 2 player, Swift and Johnson, so expect another back to be added. The same can be said about the WR room who has Golladay, Cephus, and Kennedy under contract. Tavai is the only MLB on the roster. The Lions will pick up Frank Ragnow's 5th year option. Stafford and Goff weren't the only QBs on the move, Carson Wentz was traded to the Colts. The Eagles would receive 2021 3rd pick and 22 2nd round pick for Wentz. The Texans moved QB Deshaun Watson To Carolina for 2 1st round picks and QB Teddy Bridgewater. The Texans also have released long-time star JJ Watt after he requested to be released.
