Broncos Move Up For Palmer

New York, NY - The Denver Broncos got its next franchise quarterback after moving up from 6th to 1st to snag USC standout Carson Palmer. The Bengals, original holders of the pick, traded it away along with a 4th and 6th in exchange for the #6 pick, the Broncos 2nd-round pick, and a 2004 1st-round pick. Happy with Culpepper, the Bengals turned a down season into a hefty draft haul.
