The Standard is the Standard and the Men of Steel: A Pittsburgh Steelers CFM (M22)

This CFM story picks up in week 13 of the 2021 NFL season. in years past I have struggled to commit to keeping these things going. This is due to CFM at times being bland. With the new scouting update and doing a deep dive into a few threads here on OS about franchise maintenance, Funky's XP sliders, JoshC's sliders, and the game playing the best it ever has in my opinion.....I think I will be able to keep this thing going.

Madden 22, PS5

JoshC Slider Set Up

*This is has been updated.......After the weekly update being applied to CFM I decided to do a mini-reboot.

Steelers Week 13 Practice Recap

The Steelers approach the end of the practice week with possibly more questions than they have answers. Coming off three straight non-wins with massive issues rearing their ugly heads throughout, the Steelers now face even more uncertainty with T.J. Watt on the Covid List and Cam Heyward fighting an undisclosed illness which could keep 2 of the Steelers top 3 defensive players off the field Sunday. Joe Haden will miss his 3rd straight game with a foot injury while DL Isaiah Buggs, who has recently fallen out of favor with the coaching staff, will miss the game with an ankle injury. As if this Steelers bunch wasn't missing enough hats, OLB Taco Charlton injured his wrist at practice this week and will miss the game. Defensively the Steelers are now down DL Stephon Tuitt, DL Tyson Alualu, CB Joe Haden, DL Isaiah Buggs, and OLB Joe Haden while possible losing OLB T.J. Watt, DL Cam Heyward, and DL Isaiah Loudermilk. This team faces a Ravens team that just keeps finding wins with a depleted defense that struggles to find ways to limit opposing run games.

On offense the Steelers are down 2 starting OL. LG Kevin Dotson was placed on IR on November 20th and now RG Trai Turner injured his quad at practice and will miss the game Sunday. C/G J.C. Hassenauer is also on IR which heavily impacts the depth of the unit. The Steelers will start B.J. Finney at LG and Joe Haeg at RG. Also missing from the unit is TE Eric Ebron, who is also on IR and likely done for the season.

Injuries and question marks aside, the Steelers will not allow themselves to use them as excuses. They are all singing the same tune about the standard being the standard as the team used padded practices this week in effort to cultivate physicality and find solutions to their issues. The Steelers play the Ravens at 4:25 pm in the big ketchup bottle this Sunday.
