Re: GB 2021: A Packers Franchise

Coming in to Sunday's Week 4 game, Aaron Rodgers had never beaten the Pittsburgh Steelers in the regular season. The only team Rodgers has yet to check off his list of regular season victories. There is however, that one victory against Pittsburgh in Super Bowl XLV in which Rodgers went on to win MVP with his stellar performance.

With Pittsburgh boasting the league's best rushing attack and an elite defense, everyone knew this game would be a tough challenge for the Packers. Matt Lafleur emphasized earlier in the week he wanted to lean on the ground attack led by Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon. Jones led the way with 22 carries for a game high 110 yards. He had 3 total touchdowns including 2 receiving. Leading the way for receivers was Davante Adams who reeled in 10 catches for 129 yards and the game sealing score on a 42 yard touchdown catch late in the 4th quarter. Aaron Rodgers was stellar once again but did have a late INT that helped Pittsburgh get back into the game

The defense had another game in which they made huge plays that contributed to the win. Darnell Savage Jr. intercepted Ben Roethlisberger in the 2nd quarter and returned it 77 yards to the house to put Green Bay up 14-7. This play completely shifted the momentum in the game and put Green Bay in prime position to win. Green Bay was ahead by as much as 21 points in 2nd half. Although you can never count out Big Ben and he was able to get Pittsburgh back in the game in the 2nd half thanks to an AJ Dillon fumble and Rodgers INT. Pittsburgh got to within a touchdown late in the 4th when Roethlisberger connected with Chase Claypool on a 55yard TD strike on a 3rd and 24.
Rodgers would get the ball back with 6 min left and put together a drive that took almost 4 min off the clock before hitting Adams downfield for the game sealing TD.

Green Bay put together a dominate road performance on Sunday in a 37-0 shutout win over the Bengals. Aaron Rodgers had his best game of the season passing for 353 yards and 3 TD's. His lone blemish of the game came in the 2nd quarter when he was strip sacked by Trey Hendrickson.
For the Green Bay defense, this was easily their best game of the season. Rashan Gary had two sacks including a strip sack that led to a turnover in the red zone and undoubtedly preserved the shutout. Preston Smith also contributed with a fumble recovery and a sack that forced a safety. Jaire Alexander had his best day in coverage with several pass breakups. Jaire had been struggling thus far on the season when targeted and had already allowed a few touchdowns to be scored on him. His performance Sunday was a step in the right direction for the Pro Bowl CB.

It's all Excel and then taking screenshots and posting the image of the screenshot. Credit goes to a few others on here for the inspiration. There are some really good layouts on here people have created. I'm just following in their steps. It's too bad most of the generators on this site are outdated
