Football Manager for PS5

They've announced that Football Manager 23 will be available for PS5 this November. What could I expect from the console version? How are current versions different on XBox? I've only played on PC but am open to the idea to switching over

If you're already playing on PC, I'd stay on PC because of the mods. Not sure you'll be able to get license fixes, updated databases daily, etc. while playing on a console. I'd love to hear otherwise though.

SI released a statement a week or two ago saying the game was caught up in the approval process.

Welp, after playing the game for a few hours last night, I can say that while the attempt to make the game navigable with a controller was admirable, it is almost impossible to navigate the menus with any confidence using the controller. From bouncing between submenus erratically and some menu submenus not even being accessible without turning the mouse pointer on, playing was a real chore. I'm sure if I spent a few weeks with it I'd be more efficient with the menu navigation, but if mouse/keyboard (at the very least the mouse) is a viable option I think that might be the route to go on consoles.

I did not try connecting my mouse to it yesterday, I will try that tonight.

Once you get used to controls, it's not the best, but manageable, and loving it!!

I'm still holding out hope mouse support is improved. The mouse cursor/1080p issue is beyond ridiculous.

Just wanted to report that the most recent update FIXED the PS5 mouse issues. The mouse cursor now reaches all areas of the screen and works as it always should have, huzzah.
