Trying to get my Brazilian CB who didn’t get a pre-brexit work permit a loan deal. Any tips to make it happen? I’ve offered him to clubs and no one has showed any interest yet.

Move them to an affiliate team. If you have affiliate teams (most big clubs usually have multiple) you should be able to right click on the players name, squad > Move to affiliate, select one of the teams. This forces a loan to that club for no wages.

That might not work, as that would be a none EU player for them also. Italy has a rule about 3 non EU players per season, so he would take up a foreign player slot being from Brazil. They'd have to have one open for it to work I think.

This might be my worst win of FM 2019. Can't say we even deserved the pen.


Especially coming off of a 1-1 draw in the 3rd round proper.

So I didn’t end up getting a permit for the guy, and I couldn’t get a loan deal for the year, so now I have a 19 t/o CB with 4.5 star potential sitting out a year.

In good news, I turned Watford’s -5 million bank balance into 65 million through player sales.

In true FM fashion, blew a 1-0 lead at home to Chelsea and lost 2-1 in the season opener.
