Just noticed, everyone loves Pique, well except Hutton.

Well, he doesn't like those Spanish players because they all have the same last name...

What's not to like? Great stats, young, and does not make many errors. He's one of my favorite Barca players IRL. He's also a great tutor along with Puyol.

Pique is a beast on FM and will only get better.

It's not that I don't like him, I've just never really had the chance to experience him in FM. He's got all the makings of a great CB in the long run, I just like some other players that I'm more familiar with more.

Pique was with United correct? I wonder if they are kicking themselves for letting him loose, especially considering all the injury problems they've had at the back this year.

And for the record, I don't have any issue with Spanish players, I just would have a hard time managing a La Liga squad. Nothing personal.

Re: FM "dream team"

Pique was let go because he requested a transfer as he wouldn't get any playing time if he had stayed with United. Fergie probably would be kicking himself now, but Pique wouldn't have developed as he did with Barca staying at United.

He'll be kicking himself even more because he's about to lose Vidic to Madrid, Rio is aging pretty darn quickly, and Evans and O'Shea aren't the best backups.

Re: FM "dream team"

Pique wanted to go back to Spain, and he wasn't gonna start anytime soon. I didn't want to see him go, and probably SAF didn't either.
