Re: FM 2015 - Who will you start off with?
It's a tough question. I could try my own Small Club to Big Club Challenge again but I never had the patience to stick with one club forever.
Journeyman is always an option, but I found a fantastic US lower leagues edit at FMNorthAmerica. I'm tempted to wait till there's a FM15 release of it and then start a unemployed journeyman save starting with a LL North American club. Either that or load all the out of the box leagues on a small database (which still maxes out at over 190k players!) and start in the lower leagues of Europe or Asia.
If I can replicate the success of my FM14 career (Kitchee Sports Club -> Shanghai Shenhua -> Portland Timbers -> Ajax Amsterdam -> AS Roma - currently just before the 2034/35 season), it would be a success. -
Re: FM 2015 - Who will you start off with?
I'll be waiting for others opinions on the game, I won't buy it at release, but there's almost no way I won't eventually buy it, I'll most likely do a Viborg save to start, then my normal unemployed in Europe save.Support Local Sports

I'll probably do an unemployed save to start. If that doesn't work I'll random generate a team in Bundesliga B/SerieB/Championship and start from there.Comment

Going to wait until the last patch is released before I buy
Too many headaches with bugs and waiting for new patches which ruin your tactics which is so frustrating
Not worried, I have NBA 2K15, FIFA 15 and PES15 to keep me occupied until I buy FM in February/MarchComment

Re: FM 2015 - Who will you start off with?
I usually run two games each year, an unemployed small start they I go with all year, and a Liverpool/England game that I restart several times, usually going 4-10 seasons each.
I've always done my small starts outside England, but I think I may start with a conference team this year, I'll be looking for one with aspirations, so good sized ground and decent facilities, any suggestions?Comment

You could try to get Bristol Rovers back into the Football League. They have over 10,000 capacity in their stadium, and as a bonus you get to look at one of the best club crests in all of England.Comment

Re: FM 2015 - Who will you start off with?
How do you guys go so many seasons in? I play 100+ hours each save and only end up like 4 season in haha.
Anyways, now that I am starting to casually watch the Premier league, I have decided to be an Aston Villa supporter and will try to turn their team around. Most years I start in the Sky Bet league and work my way up, so this will be a nice change of pace from the usual.Comment

Of course I didn't know until last week you could advance through news items by clicking on the spacebar so all that clicking took me some time.Comment

Re: FM 2015 - Who will you start off with?
I always space bar. I think the farthest I have ever gotten in FM was in 13, where I started off in the MLS, then moved onto a serie B team, brought them up to Serie A and won a few titles with them. Played like 7 seasons, I think? I put in 195 hours on that one though.Comment

Re: FM 2015 - Who will you start off with?
If starting unemployed, how is your coaching self rated?
How long is the wait, typically?
For the most realism, am I best to start with the default database, or is there one that starts with 2015?@MikeLowe47 | YouTube | Discord
