    Stuck - can't get MoM mode to work correctly

    I MUSt be doing something wrong as MY team will never take out a pitcher if I just let it run. What I want is to watch a game while doing other things but I can't seem to find the CPU vs CPU button

    Anybody "play" this way?

      You have to prompt it to take a pitcher out in manage only mode.

      In the TEAM SELECT screen before the game you want to be in the middle to play CPU v CPU.

          I FOUND I have to go INTO the game and then OUT again to get to the middle - I can't move it off my team unless I start the game first and then go out.

          NOW - If I can just stop having 15 K games. LOL

              Yes it has to be done at the play game screen. It’s either or. Can’t do it once in MOM. 15 K games?

                      Speaking of manage mode not working correctly. In 23 which was the last year I bought the game until 25 there were a few bugs in manage mode. Ordering pitcher to "pitch to batter" would result in a pitchout.

                      For many years with DH off the user pitcher will pitch around the 8 hitter to get to the pitcher unless you select "pitch to batter". Also if the cpu expects the pitcher to sacrifice bunt you can not tell him to swing away and he will just stand there taking pitches unless you tell him to bunt. That seems to have been fixed in 25 to some extent. Also force play, 2 out, 3-2 pitch runner doesn't automatically run. You have to remember to tell the runner to steal. That part didn't get fixed.

                      New bugs in 25 - Brush back is broken. Squeeze play is broken. I no longer submit bug reports unless it is very serious like game freezing when you go to the bullpen like happened a few years ago. Fix one or two things - one or two new bugs are added.
