    IT NEVER FAILS

There are players that I sign, or trade for, throughout the season, especially when I'm doing a rebuild. At the time they seem like "throw-ins" or just a player holding a spot, until the future high rated prospect is ready.

But there is always 1 or 2 of these guys that you just fall in love with on your team. They don't seem like much, but for some reason they get big hits when you need it, and make a big play here or there. And you don't want to let em go!

Not a trade or signing, but I have a Rockies franchise on the go and Kyle Farmer has been gold for me.

Right. Someone you didn't expect. Love that about the game.

I'm doing a Rockies franchise too and while I wanted to try to go against the grain and win with pitching, Kris Bryant has revitalized his career and actually almost earning his massive paycheck. I had planned on trading him but now I think I'll let him hang around a bit more.

For me on my Braves franchise it has been Anderson Pilar. He was a rule 5 pickup by the Braves. He has been solid out of the pin for me.

Funny side note: the real Braves sent him back to Miami at the end of Spring Training.

Kevin Pillar is that guy for me and has been for a few game iterations now. Every franchise I do, I immediately trade for him as a fourth OF and feel excitement any time I can realistically have him in the game. The number of walk-offs this guy has delivered for me is unbelievable.

Glad he worked for you. He has been putrid for me and I sent him back to AAA

My guy is Isan Diaz. He's a random free agent I signed while Bazzana is at AAA. It's now August and he's on pace for around 25 HR.
