Re: Getting the game early?!?
I think the key to getting any game early, is a whole lot of luck. You have to meet someone who sympathizes with you, or just flat out doesn't care about street dates. It helps too, if the game was put on the shelf by "accident". I know all of my local stores have the game, but of course they won't admit it.
I'm a little surprised that Sony wouldn't try to release the game ASAP. What's the point of waiting, if the game is ready? That's Sony bureaucracy for you. Frustrating, to say the least!Comment

I never understand why it even matters about street date if the stores get it in should be up to them when they sell it .I think the key to getting any game early, is a whole lot of luck. Re: Getting the game early?!?
Cause street dating ensures all businesses get a fair shake at sales for a product. If a company doesn't have their shipment yet while others are selling all of their copies it isn't fair to a company. They also may not purchase copies if they know they will get beat in sales as a result of just that. That would end up hurting consumers and could inflate prices over time.I think the key to getting any game early, is a whole lot of luck.
