I've played a few opponents online who have played the shift, and if I'd known before the replay if have played a bunt down the third base line!

Not sure if you can do this online or not, but normally if you click R3, you go into a 1st person view and can look around at how the defense is set up. -

Best advice I can give is to see the 2B/SS alignment.
I don't know what each alignment looks like but you should be able to experiment if you have an extra controller. With controller 1 on defense, shift defense and make note of the middle infielders.Comment
