Is there a way of checking if you opponent is playing a shift?

I've played a few opponents online who have played the shift, and if I'd known before the replay if have played a bunt down the third base line!

Is there any way to check if they are playing the shift or any kind of fielding position change?

Not sure if you can do this online or not, but normally if you click R3, you go into a 1st person view and can look around at how the defense is set up.

Yeah you can't do that online.

You have to just go to the replay and look.

Best advice I can give is to see the 2B/SS alignment.

I don't know what each alignment looks like but you should be able to experiment if you have an extra controller. With controller 1 on defense, shift defense and make note of the middle infielders.
