Re: Next patch?
Splitting hairs, man...maybe I'm getting to be an old fart, but 6 weeks is barely a few weeks in my mind.
In any case, my point was the game is still practically brand new, so there's no reason why they should just move on to next year's game without fixing this one. I personally don't think they'd do that, and I was saying that I find it odd that someone would suggest that since the game hasn't been out very long, and they've always been pretty good when it comes to patching the current game.Last edited by jeffy777; 06-19-2014, 12:36 AM.Comment

Re: Next patch?
6 weeks are a lot for a game thats coming out on a yearly basis, keep in mind it came out 2 months later this year as usual. Not sure if it'll be May every year from now on but I would really like to have it at least a month earlier cos in the end that would mean having the osfm roster and the first patch to fix the most nagging issues and in june. So the patch should better come soon!Splitting hairs, man...maybe I'm getting to be an old fart, but 6 weeks is barely a few weeks in my mind.

Re: Next patch?
I have never seen this despit starting multiple franchises andnever laying those games. I turnoff commentary and use fast play so maybe that is the difference?Comment

Re: Next patch?
Lighten up Francis...just a lighthearted way of saying "I get what you're saying". He obviously doesn't have permission to confirm a patch, but he'd do just fine in front of a Senate hearing with answers like that

Re: Next patch?
I am far from a genius as has been pointed out to me numerous times on this website but even I have this figured out. Go to the bug reports on the "official" website. You will see numerous bug reports listed as open, closed or in progress. The ones which are in progress are being worked on for a patch.Splitting hairs, man...maybe I'm getting to be an old fart, but 6 weeks is barely a few weeks in my mind.

There will be a patch. They are probably going to fix those things in one final patch and then go to work on next year's game.
There will be a patch.
And furthermore, there will be a patch.≡Comment

Re: Next patch?
Speak for yourself man. There's no way the game should've been released in this condition with the frame rate so choppy during cut scenes. You can totally tell the game was rushed. Getting the frame rate to run smooth at all times is getting the game up to Next Gen standards IMHO. "That should all be saved for 15" smh. If the frame rate doesn't get fixed, I for one probably won't be getting next years game. I'm big on immersion & I can't deal with choppy frame rate (and yes even though it only happens during presentation). Maybe some can overlook it but to each's own. They don't have time for too many performance tweaks I imagine. That should ALL be saved for 15. They need to get this game up to next gen standards rather than worry TOO much about this version IMHO.
I sincerely hope people on the PS3 version don't expect to be treated like first class next season. That system needs to be brought out back. The sooner the better.Comment

Re: Next patch?
He can't say yes, what is hard to understand about that?
If he says yes today and it falls through for any number of possible reasons then the community deems him a liar and we never hear the end of it both here and elsewhere.
He gave us the best answer we could hope for and the best answer he can give right now.Comment

Yeah, scea should just confirm or deny and stop basing their business model on the government with all the secrecy. Just my opinion of course, I hate to upset all the fanbois here.He can't say yes, what is hard to understand about that?

I don't think you're out of line at all. If it's any consolation.

Re: Next patch?
Far from a fanboy here, in fact my frustrations with the baserunning controls has stopped me from playing.
What I am however is realistic. You act like they are treating this any differently than they have any other year or that they "owe" you something.
I know it's easy to hide behind the ability to throw out the blanket "you're just a fanboy" statement but sometimes you need to look in the mirror and be realistic.
And comparing to the government is a new one for this site for any game, can't say I'd ever heard that one before.Comment
