Problem Setting Up 30 Team Control!

Yaa, umm how come when I try to set the injuries in the beginning for OD, I know it says got to the Disabled List and press R1 but when I press R1 nothing happens, all I can do is toggle the teams using L2/R2...Can you guys help me maybe?!
