I saw someone else asked this a few pages back as well, but they never received a response, I'm in the same boat. I'm having problems trying to figure out the DD. I created my player, but no matter what I try, I keep getting an error message when I try to put him in my bullpen. I keep getting a popup that says you no longer own the card you are trying to utilize. I've tried to add him to every position I have on my entire lineup, and I keep getting the same error message. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.

Also, I'm curious about the quick count. Is it only limited to certain types of games? I've tried a franchise game and it wasn't offered, and I've tried it in DD, and it's not available.

When is quick count available?

What happen to the regular pitch selection interface? There's now a new one that's oddly place. im certainly not fond of it.Also what do you guys think, which do you prefer?

Quick Counts are available after the lineup screen right before the start of the game. In Franchise/Season, it's with the broadcast style/weather option. In Exhibition games, it's available with the broadcast option/time of day/stadium option/weather option/etc.

It's literally the last choice you get before starting a game.

Ha! Because I'm a moron, I hate the new OSD.

Catcher calls fastball. X is glowing. I somehow still want to press square.

I wish they'd reverse the order they place the 1-5 pitches with if they plan on keeping the "list" style.

Thanks for the response! So, I'm guessing there is no quick count for Diamond Dynasty? Also, any suggestions for why I can't add my dynasty player to my roster?

I noticed in exhibition mode there is no option to select weather when playing at the Rogers center. Why is this when the roof is open? Rogers center and Tropicana are the only two in the game where you can't select the weather.

When I use Quick Counts, I can't see the hot zone preview because the first pitch has already been thrown. Any way to see it other than making it always on when using Quick Counts? I don't see it on any of the quick menus either during an at-bat or pitching.

I have the same question and have not seen this answered.

Yeah I continued to look for a way to get hot/cold zones preview working with quick counts last night and couldn't find anything. I just ended up keeping them on. I don't mind them always being on when I'm pitching from the broadcast cam, but they are distracting when I am batting from the catcher cam. I didn't use quick counts much last year, so I don't know if it was like this or not.

Don't know if SCEA will deem it a bug or not, but I did create a bug report: http://theshownation.com/bug_reports/10429. So Up vote it if you agree it is a bug.

Probably because if you had rain there people would create a stink about how in rl this wouldn't happen as the roof would be closed..but as this is not an option I assume they removed the weather option instead.

Since you can turn everything else off, seems like they straight up forgot about it.

With you on that one, I prefer the old style like many. But (and correct me I'm wrong) the list ordered the same way as the old one, ie: your pitchers best pitch, usually the fastball, is 1st on the list, and so on.

I could be wrong, because I haven't really been paying attention to the order that much. I will say this: the more you play, the more it becomes second nature.

I used quick counts last year and I believe it was the same way. However, I saw someone else mentioned that Hot Zone previews "was fixed", which somewhat led me to believe that it would work correctly as we are wanting it to with quick counts, but that doesn't appear to be the case.

Like you, I experimented with a bunch of things like strike zone on/off etc, but never figured out a way to make it work without turning quick counts off.

I can't figure this out either, and also when I create my player the option to have a curved peak is locked, as is the option to put any flaps on my batting helmet lol.
