I have never seen the CPU take an extra step on 15. Not once.

        Yes I have.

Playing at Busch Stadium vs the D'Backs when I looked over to first when Trumbo was on first, he only led off covering the "L" in St.Louis on the tarp. When Goldschidmt was on first and I looked over he was covering "ST" in St.Louis on the tarp.

        Seen it quite often.

Is there a way to teach players new positions in franchise short of editing them?

I have also never seen any Cpu runner take more than the default lead.

CB: Is it possible the CPU is taking initial leads of varying lengths? I ask because I haven't seen it take the extra step post patch either, but I could swear that the runner's lead foot was in a different position sometimes after the initial lead (I use the line between the dirt and grass to estimate it)

I'll try to pay closer attention and get a screen if I can.

I keep having an issue with RTTS ill get drafted play 3 or 4 games then I get an error saying application data corrupted. I've redownloaded the game 4 times still hasn't fixed it. Anyone else have this issue? I have no other issue in any other mode so I don't see how it can be corrupted. It's only with RTTS.

That could be what it is, but I do know that there are different leads from different players. Some take a normal lead, while others are leading off as if they are going to attempt to steal. I equate those that are leading off further as taking that extra step.

The patch didn't mention the extra step, just that runners will use correct leadoff logic.

Is there a quicker way to overwrite save files? I notice when I'm saving a slider set or roster set or w/e I have to type up a name for it every single time. There's no way to skip the typing part and just quickly keep the same name of an existing file and save over it?

Can you turn off trades in RTTS?

So have you been able to pick off a runner at first yet?

Not to my knowledge. Right now I am wishing I WOULD get traded..

I hate this to. But I also wish they would let us manually name franchise files. Thats one of the reasons I don't use 30 team lately because I like to use a few franchises and it get real confusing since they all have the same name.

I knew I wasn't imagining it - check this out. Same pitcher, different runners:

                              Spoiler

Save the images to your computer and look at them in an image viewer by cycling back and forth if you have to, but you'll see what I'm getting at - those leadoffs are definitely different. The one thing I can say for sure is that not one of these leadoffs took that extra, noticeable step after the initial lead - I've still yet to see that.

Also, I don't know why the pitcher has the longest lead of anyone in those screens - maybe just coincidence that I took that particular screen and the leadoffs vary even within at-bats. But it would be kind of strange if pitchers were the ones getting large leads.

                              Thoughts?

Look at the back foot in those. They're all lined up with the same cut of the grass. The legs are just spread apart at different lengths. The leads are the same if you go by the back (left) foot instead of the front (right) foot.

I'm guessing if you took the picture with each baserunner in the same position (as they fidget and move around), they would all be the same.
