Re: MLB 15 trade discussion thread
Yea anybody would much rather have anyone of those guys. But realistically (should he get moved) I think a trade around those 2 makes sense.Comment

Re: MLB 15 trade discussion thread
Yeah, I had a feeling it would come down to that. You think Baez + Edwards + McKinney is a good enough offer?
I really have no clue how to judge Baez's value right now. He is very talented, but I don't know how other teams would look at his strikeout problems.Comment

Re: MLB 15 trade discussion thread
I have considered Syndergaard, but would never give up Russell for him. Does Castro + another piece for Syndergaard sound about right?
Wheeler just had Tommy John and I always manually injure all players in my franchise so I wouldn't really want a package centered around him. I am open to moving Baez.
Thanks for the input from all of you guys by the way.Comment

What do you think the asking price for Weiters would be? If it helps I'll be doing a Rockies franchise. I'd also like to keep Dahl and Gray.Comment

Castro+another decent piece for Syndergaard sounds fine.I have considered Syndergaard, but would never give up Russell for him. Does Castro + another piece for Syndergaard sound about right?

Re: MLB 15 trade discussion thread
So I'm in a similar situation as him, looking to unload Castro to the Mets for some pitching, to be honest though I really don't think the Mets move Syndergaard for anything reasonable so I was thinking something centered around Steven Matz or Montero. In real life I think Montero is who the Cubs would want but with the roster I'm using Matz is much closer to being MLB ready (even though Montero has actual MLB experience) so I'm more interested in himI have considered Syndergaard, but would never give up Russell for him. I'm also looking to trade Wellington Castillo for some more pitching maybe a decent bullpen guy and also thinking about trading alcantara any ideas would be great thanksComment

Re: MLB 15 trade discussion thread
I'm going to start a franchise with the O's once OSFM rolls out. At some point in the season, I may want to trade Matt Wieters. I'll ask about him if I do decide to trade him. I might also just have to let him go in Free Agency.
With that said, I'd want to keep Caleb Joseph and add another solid (or more than solid) catcher. What would it take to sweep Mike Zunino from the M's for the O's?Comment

Re: MLB 15 trade discussion thread
I am new to MLB The Show 15.
The day before yesterday I started an offline season with the Braves and went through the pre-season games and then started the regular season.
I would like to keep my roster as it is in real life - up to date with the latest trades. Can I do this through regular The Show official roster updates or do I have to make the trades manually in game as my season progresses?
For example the Braves traded Craig Kimbrel and outfielder Melvin Upton, Jr. to the Padres in exchange for pitcher Matt Wisler, minor league outfielder Jordan Paroubeck, outfielders Cameron Maybin and Carlos Quentin, and the 41st overall pick.
How would I go about updating my roster as my season progresses?
Also, is there a way to play with a minor league team? For example my home town is Birmingham I would like to play a season with the Birmingham Barons.Comment

For the minor league team if u did a franchise with the white sox u could just play all there games if u hit to the side on the right stickComment

Re: MLB 15 trade discussion thread
@ JCrome
So I guess I will have to start a new season in order to reset the settings 30 team control?
Also, just to confirm in order to play the minor league team i need to:
1. start a franchise with the White Sox.
2. "hit to the side on the right stick" ??? What does this mean?Comment
