Instant Replay, this stranger.
I have not yet had the opportunity and pleasure to be able to challenge a decision thanks to instant replay.
I wonder ...... but what is needed to be able to have the chance to see the instant replay? But this new feature exists or not?

Oh challenge plays? It only happens on plays at first and I have seen it like 5 times in just 12 games so I would say it happens pretty often.

Oh.....so he doesn't works on play at home ? Sadly......so many plays at home for me objectionable and I never had the challenge plays.
So he works only for plays at the first ?

Yes, you can only challenge plays at first, and only on offense.

The game prompts you if theres a questionable call at first and asks if youd like to challenge. Ive said yes all 3 times ive seen it and won 2.

Yeah the instant replay leave a lot to be desired, plays at the plate especially but 2nd and 3rd as well and base stealing need to be challenged as well.

I got the impression that this feature will be expanded in the future. I think they wanted to test it out just on plays at first before they tried it on other situations. And in all fairness for what it is its a success in my opinion. I've had probably 20 challenges and everyone was spot on and the commentary was accurate and appropriate. I have a feeling that we will see alot more of this in the future.

I was able to challenge a play while on defense. I have a video of it. The play was at first.

Plays at first with no one on base, as far as I can tell. I've had a few questionable calls at first with men on and none of them offered review.

The really bad news about the limited replay is that with it they removed the automatic review of fair/foul on home runs. I've seen at least four clear foul balls called home runs and none of them were reviewed.

Yeah, I had seen them prior to this year, but none this year. Not a single time, despite foul balls being called home runs.

I'm fairly certain I had a challenge at first on a double play call (while on offense).

As for HR challenges, they are definitely still present. I've seen a few already (twice in exhibition and once in RTTS...although with the RTTS one it gave me the points breakdown for a HR despite it being called foul initially. So the suspense of the challenge was non-existent).
