Re: Stadiums that need to be updated or corrected behind home plate
Didn't The Show have it as well?
or was it a GM option, but it didn't change on field.....there was something with grass patterns....'08 or '09 maybe?

I remember being able to do it in The Show in the PS2 days.Comment

Re: Stadiums that need to be updated or corrected behind home plate
It was at least in MLB 2005. You could play, like, $50,000 to change the grass pattern.
EDIT: It was also in MLB 07, it was $250,000 to change the pattern.
On an MLB 07 note, does anybody know why RFK Stadium wasn't in the PS2 version of the game?Last edited by sydrogerdavid; 01-06-2016, 04:37 PM.Comment

I'm almost certain it was in The Show. I don't remember ever trying it. So I don't know if it showed up on field or not.Comment

It definitely changed in the PS2 versions, you could select from 4 or 5 different patterns at the Stadium Select screen in Exhibition mode.Comment

Great work! I've always thought that the distance between home plate and the backstop at US Cellular field is much shorter in real life then it is in the Show.
It definitely seems like the distance in The Show is a mile long

Stadiums that need to be updated or corrected behind home plate
I've brought this one up previously on the ShowNation forums, but I might as well throw my hat in this ring here as well.
Kauffman Stadium:
From the broadcast camera view, there should only be an opening between seats directly behind the catcher, and there should also be a built up wall with branding instead of the railing behind the first four rows
