Why is it that anytime a player gets near a wall it's like they get sucked into it and then have to brace themselves? It's very annoying as the animation adds about 10 seconds to the time that it takes to get the ball back in. Has anyone else noticed this?

10 seconds is a little exaggerated but the animation does play out slowly. The key is not to run full throttle to the wall which activates the animation. Just let up on the stick to let the player slow down and field it cleanly.

Even after the update, I still cannot challenge my friend. I can play online DD, but it still says challenge failed whenever I try to play with my friend. I already checked the NAT types and we're both Type 2. Any advice?

Quick question: I haven't played a baseball game since 2k12 so I'm a little rusty.

If you play co-op, does one person pitch and one person control all other fielders?

I've been playing franchise mode since the first Show came out, however i cant seem to find where hall of fame inductees are listed? am i missing something? in the older iterations of The Show had a menu option within the franchise mode to view the Hall of Fame and as the seasons passed, it was designed to populate with the new inductees which were based on the retirements that happen with each new season, but i cant seem to find it....In Short: does mlb 16 franchise mode have a menu/list of the hall of fame players that updates with the players that retire?

Hi guys, I was just wondering if anyone knew a good twitter account to follow for game updates, because the official Shownation one is rubbish. I'm looking for something that updates me to roster updates, new players/items being added to DD mode, new missions,new packs available and that sort of thing? I imagine there must be some kind soul doing this sort of thing and I was wondering if anyone knew who to follow? Cheers

I'm playing with OSFM 2.5 in an offline franchise, and I'm nearing the trade deadline, so I took a gander at each team's lineups to search for potential targets.

In doing so, I noticed that the Braves were playing AJ Pierzynski at shortstop, while playing someone else at catcher and keeping serviceable utility infielders on the bench.

I don't do 30 team control, and I don't plan on restarting or micromanaging the CPU roster. What I'm wondering, however, is whether this sort of thing is an anomaly. C as SS is a big time out of the box move, especially at AJ's stage of career. I'm wondering what the roster management logic might be here.

Any clues?

I've seen it happen a few times with the Yankees. Ellsbury at short. I don't know why it occurs. I was hoping the couple times I saw with the Yankees was an anomaly. Fill out a bug report with a screen shot.

Check the box scores to see if those players are actually playing games at those positions. I've noticed this with teams due to injuries, and they don't end up adjusting it back.

However, when games are simmed, the lineup often changes so those players may not actually be playing games where they're listed according to the lineup.

you da boss! thanks!! funny thing i noticed Nick Markakis was inducted..but he was a free agent so he is no where to be found since the way they track it is by team lol... odd that they set it up that way, used to be a just a long list of players as opposed to by the team that they retired with..but anyway thanks for the info seems so obvious now lol

I was wondering if there's a way to improve the RTTS Pitcher yanking. Every year I play this game and it seems that the managers keep you in way too long. I understand I am having a great game, but pitching over 100 pitches and having no accuracy is lame. Its as though you don't get taken out until you give up runs. It stinks from a statistical standpoint and from a trying to win standpoint. I DL'ed TNK's sliders for my current RTTS. I was just wondering if there's any doctoring I should do to them to improve this issue.

To add, I just pitched to 120 pitches up 7-0 into the 8th. On my 120th pitch my RTTS pitcher blew out his shoulder. This is frustrating.

Is anyone else experiencing massive disconnection issues lately? I can barely click through a menu without getting kicked back. I even switched my PS4 to a wired connection as I was worried it might be my wifi, but it's just as bad.

EDIT: Nm, must have been my PS4 wifi card. I unplugged the console, let everything reset and it works great again.
