You can put him anywhere, I don't think the rating drop for sec/out position applies.

Hmm.

I don't play DD but I thought they said the ratings drop for playing out of position was almost specifically for DD so people wouldn't have ridiculous teams with Correa catching, Trout at 3rd, etc.

I play RTTS on Legend difficulty settings & I remember playing last year it was fun to go to the leaderboards under RTTS & see what everyone else (Your RTTS Player) was doing at there current positions & team. I noticed this year the leaderboard is there BUT it only shows you your friends who are on your friends list progression NOT everyone else. Is there a reason for this that I am not aware of or is it just what they are doing for this years game. I enjoyed looking at the other peoples stats (Even though I noticed most DON'T play under LEGEND difficulty which most definitely throw a loop in stats).

I was wondering the same thing. I liked being able to check the leaderboard on my PC through the Show Nation website but that leaderboard doesn't even exist this year. To me it kind of takes the fun out of playing RTTS if you can't compare stats to other players. Very frustrating!

I had one instance of a runners on 2/3. I pinch ran for the runner on 2, but it didn't work. I tried multiple times, and every time I hit X to confirm, the original runner was still on 2 and the PR was still available on the bench. I was able to use him as a PR later in the game though... this was in Conquest.

When I am hitting, and press R2, the CPU pitcher's repertoire pops up, which I don't recall happening last year? But after every single pitch, regardless, a strike zone pops up with the speed and location of the pitch in the corner of the screen. I guess I can deal with it like an ESPN K Zone or something but I would prefer to shut it off.

When I am pitching, the pitch repertoire is always up and last year I had the option of shutting that off. I turned off pitch confidence and all the strike zone info and everything to no avail. Maybe we can't take that off the screen like last year. Normally I just memorize the buttons to which pitch is thrown. This bothers me more than anything else. I just posted in Armor's thread to see if maybe he knows. Thanks!

Update: Somebody from Armor's slider thread told me about a menu screen I must have missed. Thanks again!

If it's like last year your DD player has an OVR for each of the 9 positions on the field. And the ratings are different for each position for the most part.

I think you cannot simply release a player...you have to switch them out with another player.

I used player movement and scrolled thru the FA1 or FA2 "rosters" and picked a player rated near the bottom to swamp my wanna-be-FA with.

At least someone understands lol Adam, I regularly was fueled by the leaderboards in RTTS last year. You could almost tell what difficulty others would be playing on based off their stats. This year I can only look at my friends stats & no one else which kinda sucks. Obviously if it's not in there this year it wont be at all. Hopefully they bring it back next year because RTTS can get old quick.

Why are there two separate "free agents" rosters? And why do they seem to be distributed randomly? I can't see a pattern to which ones go in Free Agents 1 vs Free Agents 2. (I'm not talking about the legends one, I'm talking about the two with real players.)

I've never heard of this. Change the time of year to October and then start the game at 7PM. It'll be dark when the game starts.
