Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
That's a good point, maybe Holland or Lewis or someone from the minors can emerge. I'll hold off at least for another month.I think this sounds pretty good actually. There are people who might think Lopez is too much to pay (#48 in BA midseason Top 100) for someone with basically no track record, but Duvall has nice power in this game. Cincy also needs pitching like a camel needs sand.
It's still a bit early to know where teams would shake out on trading. 31-22 puts you somewhere in late May?
I think Hughes makes the most sense. Moore might be buy-low with those stats, but I doubt TB would have any interest in selling low. I'd offer up whichever 2 B prospects you like the least for Hughes.
This doesn't seem fair to Texas. There's no way Mazara is getting traded for a rental Jose Bautista. I'd also suggest you include stats next time. Bautista's stats are important here, although anything short of MVP candidate stats makes this very unfair to Texas.PSN-Shugarooo

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
Bautista's stats are ok, but nothing out of this world. I also wonder why you'd want to trade a run producer like Bautista during the season unless it's because you are aware that he's a rental. Again, not fair to Texas.well, Bautista is hitting .270/.327/.531 26 home runs(2nd in AL)
Desmond is hitting .260/.288/.414 5 home runs
Mazara is hitting .257/.328/.392 5 home runs
the problem i have with mazara expectation is to be a Star, so i give him a little bit of a boost, i would need to put him in lead off since i still have Tulo, Donaldson and EE who are also are expected Stars.
I think the larger problem is the unfairness of the proposed trade. I'd worry about how Mazara fits in or not after you've come up with a fairer offer. You would probably have to swap someone like Stroman or Sanchez to entice Texas.
I could see a Mazara + something for Sanchez + something type of framework.Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

This is an easy no. Not even a close fair trade. If offered that, the GM would laugh in your face man. Move on and find another team to dump Jose toowell, Bautista is hitting .270/.327/.531 26 home runs(2nd in AL)

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
I've been trying to think of some scenarios to dump Pablo from the Sox after my 2016 season finishes up and been looking mostly at bad contract swaps. Would LAA have any interest in swapping Pujols contract for Sandoval's? Or would the Nats be interested in trading Zimmerman for Sandoval, obviously other pieces can be added in to "sweeten the pot" but I'm just interested in moving Pablo because I plan on moving Moncada to 3B and don't need two backups in Shaw and SandovalPSN: lxl_Porta_lxl

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
You will have to attach a prospect or two to Sandoval to get anyone to bit. Even taking on another "bad" contract. You probably need to do this with a team that isn't competing. I doubt the Nationals want an expensive backup since Pablo wouldn't play anywhere for them. It will likely depend on how Pujols plays in 2016 in your chise to determine if it could happen, or what additionally you would need to addI've been trying to think of some scenarios to dump Pablo from the Sox after my 2016 season finishes up and been looking mostly at bad contract swaps. Would a package of Henry Owens, Pablo, and Michael Chavis (a lottery ticket type guy) be enough to send to LAA for Pujols? Cause then he could take over for Papi at DHPSN: lxl_Porta_lxl

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
When you start considering a CPU offered trade, it is 90% of the time considered a dump or doozy deal. The trade mechanics in this game are still very bad. Always decline CPU trades lolFollow my Twins franchise http://www.operationsports.com/Tmizzle/dynasty/Comment

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
All-right, so I plan to mirror two of the Twins trades when I reach the deadline in 3 weeks. The first deal I plan to follow is the Nolasco and Meyer trade for Santiago and Alan Busenitz. Here are the stats of the players involved in this deal:
Nolasco: W-L 5-7 IP 111.2 SO 65 ERA 4.03 WHIP 1.21 G 17 GS 17 QS 8 WAR 1.95 K/9 5.24 BB/9 0.40 HR/9 1.21
Meyer: W-L 1-1 SV 1 IP 25.2 ERA 2.10 WHIP 1.32 G 11 GS 1 WAR 0.60 K/9 7.36 BB/9 2.45 HR/9 0.70
Santiago: W-L 6-9 IP 93.1 ERA 5.01 WHIP 1.59 G 17 GS 17 WAR 0.59 K/9 7.23 BB/9 4.15 HR/9 1.35
Busenitz: He has no stats as he is in SIngle-A
So as you can see the possible dilemma that I feel as if I am giving much more value because of the season my two pitchers are having for Santiago and a Single-A pitcher with C potential. I would really like Santiago still has he gives me a lefty. Now I am considering getting someone else in the deal other than Busenitz. The two guys I am targeting are Jose Alvarez and Cam Bedrosian. In my season Bedrosian is rated 64.Follow my Twins franchise http://www.operationsports.com/Tmizzle/dynasty/Comment

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
Honestly you shouldnt be looking at bedrosian and jose alvarez so much because it would add yet another reliever to the deal. You could always look at a top15-20 in that system to add to the deal, thinking more along the lines of a position player thoughAll-right, so I plan to mirror two of the Twins trades when I reach the deadline in 3 weeks. Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
Meh, I traded a young starter that will fit their rotation (Finnegan) with 4 years team control and a raw B outfielder for a reliever (Knebel) and two decent (C) prospects. That was a "trade finder" suggested trade, which is probably basically just getting all the CPU teams to make offers.
I guess that was one of the "10%" because that doesn't seem all that bad. *shrug*
Always run CPU proposed trades through other eyes (like here) if you're uncertain, that's the only "always" I'd agree with."Some people call it butterflies, but to him, it probably feels like pterodactyls in his stomach." --Plesac in MLB18Comment

You could of got more for Finnegan. Also, just stating "Raw B level prospect" doesn't say much unless you give me a name of the prospect.Meh, I traded a young starter that will fit their rotation (Finnegan) with 4 years team control and a raw B outfielder for a reliever (Knebel) and two decent (C) prospects.
