If you know you're right then why are you still debating it? You came in here and asked for our opinions. We gave them to you, you got angry, now we're here. It doesn't have to be like that, I promise.

This attitude is why you think everyone has something against you. If you didn't come in here blasting the "I'm right and you're wrong" stuff at us then maybe we could all engage in an intelligent conversation about trades in your franchise. It has nothing to do with the Indians per se, and more to do with your overall attitude (it just so happens you're an Indians fan).

Let's move on from the whole Brantley trade mess.

What's funny is everyone avoiding the Zimmer or Frazier + for Cespedes for one year question in comparisons to the Judge + minors

Then go make your trades. Why even consider posting here for anyone's opinion? You're right, and your knowledge dwarfs all others.

Send Brantley to the Cubs for Schwarber and A. Russell.

Or maybe, to Texas for Gallo, Mazara, and Brinson.

You might even be able to pry Scherzer and Giolito away from the Nats.

I mean google is pretty easy to use , it's pretty easy to do research. You should try it sometime. Might get some facts right.

Frangraphs you say? Funny when I googled war contracts in baseball the first thing that popped up was an article 2 seasons back saying 5-7. Sounds like your whole 8-8.5 is just bogus after all, but anyone who actually follows baseball knows that from the start

And no it's approx, Cespedes is making about half of what he should be making according to that, or like I said, the more realistic 3-4 sometimes 5-6 thst everyone in baseball useses because it's something that can be proven unlike the bogus and wrong 8 Mil

Check out Mike Trout's FanGraphs page. You can divide the "Dollars" column ($72.1M) by the "WAR" column (9.0) for 2015 and let me know what number you get...that's better for figuring out what FanGraphs currently uses as opposed to a random article from 2+ years ago. This should help out your research efforts.

It's getting to the point where Tito's posts are diverting from the streamlined discussions on this thread and are leading to antagonistic, sarcastic and downright disrespectful remarks. Personally, Tito, everyone has given their full on the logic, or lack thereof, you've presented to this point. If you disagree, that's fine. If you'd like to discuss it, that's fine. But there's no need to be disrespectful and antagonize other members. Especially when you've only been on this site for a very brief period of time. If you can't handle people's opinions on your posts, it's probably better not to post them.

Check out Mike Trout's FanGraphs page. You can divide the "Dollars" column ($72.1M) by the "WAR" column (9.0) for 2015 and let me know what number you get...that's better for figuring out what FanGraphs currently uses as opposed to a random article from 2+ years ago. This should help out your research efforts.

Except I have yet to be disrespectful. I'm entitled to my opinion and am allowed to defense my opinion. You can leave if you choose to disagree, no one forced you to be here or join in. I'm just trying to be realistic and get fair value, everyone else sees Indians players as avergae and get upset when they are proven wrong, and I don't understand why.

I think you may have misread the part that explains what the "Dollars" column means...here's the part you didn't read.

Dollars - WAR converted to a dollar scale based on what a player would make in free agency

Okay I am pretty sure in the first post it said don't let trades "discussion" go on for a past its welcome time slot. So let's move on, tito can do as he pleases, we shouldn't derail this thread anymore. Take it to another thread, like off-topic in the MLB section.

I'll get things back rolling with a hypothetical.

So I will be doing my Sox chise and my 30-team, and I am curious for my 30-team one about one trade so far...

If the White Sox are out of it again, could we see Sale and Robertson dealt? Or more likely Quintana and Jones?

Once OSFM drops I will be running a NY Yankees 30 team Franchise.

I am looking at possibly trying to move Brett Gardner. It pains me as I love the guy, but I am trying to solidify the starting rotation and may look to give Aaron Jocks a real shot at the starting LF job in Gardner's place.

My question is along with Gardner and maybe a B level prospect...what kind of starter could I go after that would be a realistic fit and also a realistic trade partner. Do I go for a pitcher at the deadline from a non contending team? (I fully feel I will be in post season contention if I stay healthy).

Thoughts?

I could see them moving on from Sale and Robertson if they are out of it again. It would take a haul like Benintendi/Devers ++. Or Schwarber, Soler, Underwood + (being rivals in CHI makes White Sox need more in return). Those are the deals you are looking for Sale.

Kinda what I was thinking, unless they are in 1st place or within striking distance. Just trying to work some potential deals. Would the Rangers ship Gallo + Profar? Too much, too little? Gallo is the blue chip, and Profar was one before injury. Maybe add in Luke Jackson/Chi Chi? This is of course the Rangers being in the running as well.
