    Manager Hook

It's still way too short. This has been an issue as long as I can remember with this series. In an RTTS Pitcher game or a franchise game position lock on pitcher, the manager gives you absolutely no rope in a close game beyond the 6th inning. It doesn't matter how well you've been doing, what your pitch count is, etc. If it is a 1 run game after the 6th and a guy gets on (even by way of error), you will get yanked. Every. Single. Time. You're leading 1-0 in the 7th with two outs. You've struck out 10 already. Your pitch count is in the 60s. 2B boots a weak chopper and here comes the manager to take the ball. Unbelievable.

btw-this is with the manager hook slider turned all the way down (i.e. all the way to the left; zero).

MoM player here and after 10 games only one Starter has gone more then 6 innings and bullpens are ragged. I moved the slider down but you say it's at 0? hmmmmm

I agree, and it's this way across the board. But then the cpu will leave relievers in for 4 innings if you're not hitting him.

Yea, all the way down. It's not a pitcher fatigue issue, either. Even if your pitcher has 99 stamina and is on a low pitch count, they yank you. It's a formula that is programmed into the game. It must be because it happens every single time without exception (although I should note that I'm not sure what would happen if you have a no-hitter on and a guy reaches on a walk or error in a one run game beyond the sixth. I've never been in that situation). So if you are in a tight game going into the 7th, as long as it stays a one run game, you must retire every single better in order to finish the game on the mound; no walks, no hits, nobody reaching on error, nothing. It's absurd.

This is honestly my only issue with RTTS as a pitcher. Other than this, it's pretty awesome.

It has happened to me twice and I kept pitching. The first time I gave up a walk in the 7th and the second time the batter reached on an error by Kolten Wong in the 8th. I finished the no-hitter the second time (first was broken up by a bunt single, surprise surprise) and it would've been a perfect game if it wasn't for that error.

I totally agree with you though. It's one of, if not THE most frustrating thing in this game. It has probably happened 10 times in one season since I got 16 and imported my character. It happened all the time in 15 too of course.

I think it is called Tony LaRussa Syndrome - I first started to notice something was really wrong but then I was playing the Cardinals. :-)

The funny flipside to this is if the game is tied or you are down a run, the AI skip actually will leave you in in that case.

It would be nice to see a RP Manager Hook slider added.

Can't overlook the original Captain Hook, Sparky Anderson.
