Re: MLB The Show 16 30-Team Franchise DL Guide (Spreadsheet)
I am able to manually injure CPU players in my single-team franchise, I just don't have the ability to control the DL's. I would like to apply this to my current franchise that's about in May but I don't want to spend all the time if the CPU still doesn't properly manage the disabled list.you can not manually injure players on cpu teams unless you have 30-team control on. After applying injuries, you can move them to the DL yourself. This is just for opening day, fyi. After I set all injuries and select my team, I switch all other teams to different profiles which has everything (roster management, trades, injury management) on AUTO and turn injuries ON.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 16 30-Team Franchise DL Guide (Spreadsheet)
Oh okay. I didn't know you can do that. To tell you honestly, I have never tried a single team franchise before so I'm not quite sure what the answer is. I'm sorry about that.I am able to manually injure CPU players in my single-team franchise, I just don't have the ability to control the DL's. But let me try it when I get home and find if there is indeed a way to do it. Cheers, mate.Comment

What you could do is manually injure a couple of players on a CPU team and then sim a week or so out to see if they've adjusted their roster. As long as you don't save, you'll be able to revert to your current place. If no one has the answer by the time I'm home, I'll give this a shot and let you know what happens. I'd be interested in not having to bother with 30-team control if I don't have to.I am able to manually injure CPU players in my single-team franchise, I just don't have the ability to control the DL's. Ok, you have to help me a little. I created a single team franchise with CPU roster control ON and injuries on MANUAL. But I can't set injuries. How do you do it?I am able to manually injure CPU players in my single-team franchise, I just don't have the ability to control the DL's. With injuries on manual, go to the disabled list, then hit R1 on a team page to set/remove injuries.Comment

Whew. Just finished injuring all the guys (using a top 200 prospects roster, don't really need anymore) and ready to go! Took a little under an hour to do all teams. Not bad at all! Thank you again!!Comment

Re: MLB The Show 16 30-Team Franchise DL Guide (Spreadsheet)
I hate to be a killjoy but the CPU is completely clueless when it comes to managing injuries. Sometimes they take forever to put a guy back on the roster and there just isn't a whole lot of sense about what they're doing most of the time. And yeah that's why 30 team control comes in handy. But do u really wanna be spending that much time managing the roster of every team? SOMEDAY The Show will be much improved in this regard. It'll be possible to start with real life injuries without having to manually injure everyone, and the CPU will have solid AI when it comes to managing the roster. Unfortunately we're not there yet, and until we are I just wanna play ball. But to each his own.
