Changing color tone to warm2 will give you better more natural looking colors. Standard pushes more blue and gives you a bluish picture. Your brightness is too high as well. Should be 45 or right around that.

I don't know. I leave for Texas on Thursday for 6 days. Maybe some time away will be good. Maybe it will look different when I get back.

Did you try what I did? Max out Color and turn Live Color to High? That solved the whitewash issue for me

Has anyone noticed a white flickering above the batters helmet in RTTS? Only when at bat. I'm running enhanced visuals no HDR.

Just noticed the bat flickers too in a couple spots.

Most importantly which I think is getting lost still, your TV needs to have the specs to do full HDR (1,000 nit brightness and very dark black levels). You need a back lit TV also. The edge lit Tv's just can't get as dark nor bright, which is why it can look dim or washed out.

The KS8000 does fine HDR. I'm not sure what you're talking about. It still has about a 7000:1 contrast ratio and can't hit 1500 nits

If you just bought it I would 100% exchange it for the KS8000. Much better bang for your buck and real HDR.

KS8000 user here. Im having the same issues with HDR enabled just as NBA 2k17.

With dynamic contrast on anything but medium or high, the game is simply too dark. Why is that?

I'm in 4k mode, HDR on, eco solution etc all off, game mode on, backlight at 20, brightness at 45, contrast at 100, smart LED on high, HDMI UHD color on, color space native, HDR intensity all the way up.

            Any help would be great.

Nice. Thanks. I'll adjust after dinner and see what I think.

Also colorspace should be Auto. Native oversaturates the colors

That's jaggies due to little/no antialiasing. Only way to reduce that is to go to 4K really.

Yes I noticed that as well. It happens at the 4K resolution as well with HDR turned on. I thought it was the HDR settings but I guess not if your seeing it with no HDR enabled.

Is HDMI black level set correctly in both TV and PS4? Set to Auto for both.

Thanks for letting me know. Was hoping it wasn't just me lol.

Its actually pretty annoying, but I doubt it's something that can be fixed.

What kind of TV do you have? Do you see a blue halo glow during night games when the game goes to a replay? I especially see it in RTTS.

On game mode, HDMI black level is blacked out. You cant change it. It's defaulting to Low and greyed out. For my PS4 Pro, everything is set to Automatic.

Im so confused why its dark for me versus upping the dynamic contrast to make things pop/more vibrant?
