What happened to wind?

I remember back in MLB the show 08 or 10 or 11 or which they had the jerseys blow in the wind with nice ripple effect. It was my favorite thing in the game. Is it in MLB the show 17 or when did they remove this?

Yea, MLB 2K7 was the only baseball game I've seen with that in it.

the wind can blow the baseball 700 feet in 2017 but cant move flimsy fabric other than flags a a few inches. evrybody must have their roof closed. ah well, back to the physics drawing board

I know the devs addressed the jerseys a bit last year in a response pretty much saying that the jersey system in the game needs a complete overall to add such effects in and it hasn't been a high enough priority to devote so much resources to such an overall any of the years so far as other priorities have been addressed instead in past years.

It was.

It wouldn't be easy to add cloth physics into MLB The Show anyway. They would also have to optimise the hell out of it for it not to cripple the framerate.

I think it also looks awful in real life. Someone tell MLB players to wear uniforms that fit!
