    Really wish sports games played to ratings!
    Only thing SIM about sports games now, are the team name and players

    Madden get rid of the extras (SS/XF, HFA, media, scenarios, game plan) or turn them down considerably.

        YES. Kind of off target but you'd get the results you're looking for by not having an indicator pop up right away.

        I swear this game had that a few years ago, where the indicator wouldn't appear on the grass immediately. I assumed the indicator would appear based on how hard the ball was hit + defensive attributes.

        For example, and extreme example, CF Billy Hamilton should have a tiny indicator that never moves the moment the ball is in play. Buster Posey in CF, on the other hand, would not get an indicator for a long time, and if the ball exited at 100mph, he'd never see one.

        I also loved the old canned animation where your Of would take a step back on a hard line drive right at them, causing the ball to drop in front of them for a single. OF game has increased greatly this year but it has a long way to go.

        I'd also like to see a sprint button that causes the indicator to disappear for anyone below an 90 range, or make it a dice roll or whatever. Then, when not holding sprint, you're running at, say, 80%, in order to track the ball. If you goes this in to infielders too, every 3B wouldn't make a spectacular catch on those "tweeners".

        Add better fence/collision too, and you got yourself some D. Example, holding sprint disregards the walls causing injuries and drops unless your Arenado or Aaron Rowand good. Stanton types wouldn't even try sprinting near the wall. Just jog over, pick it up and fire it back in.

            i respect that answer. what is "arcade" comment saying? a bad thing or good thing? i will say that my goal really is to get this option n2 the game next year.

            that would be crazy if it happened. would show how far industry has come w/ how close they are now w/ their consumers.
