Top Minor Leaguers Not Getting Playing Time?

Hey guys, I have an issue this year that I can't recall having before. I thought I'd throw it out there and see if anyone else is having the same thing happen.

My top prospect is a SS at AA. He's talented enough that he would be better than a lot of guys on the AAA team, but he's 19, so I have him batting 4th in all four lineups on the AA team.

He's the highest rated player on the squad, and is a good fielder. Though 25 team games, he has the highes average, OBP, and slugging percentage of anyone on the team. He also easily has the best walk and strikeout percentages.

However, the AA team has only given him 18 at bats so far, when most of the starters have over 80. They seem to be giving most of the playing time at SS to a 57 OVR 29 year old instead, who I have on the bench in the lineups, and he's playing like garbage.

So basically, the CPU is being really, really stupid and not giving my guy his playing time. Is there a solution or workaround?
Anyone who claims to be a fan of two teams in the same pro sport is actually a fan of none.

Is his durability low? He may be getting subbed for low energy?

If not, use quick manage to make sure he's starting then just exit the game and it'll sim.

That's a good thought. I checked and his durability seems above average. Not as great as the stars on the MLB club, but better than his teammates at AA. So in theory, that shouldn't be the problem.

I agree that your work around should be enough to fix the problem, but at the same time its more micromanaging than I'm interested in putting forth if I don't have to.

I'm going to try and sub the crappy second baseman into the lineup somewhere else and first see if that solves things, since the CPU is so keen on him getting playing time.
