This is great news! I just got the game today and was worried I was going to have to decide between using QC and seeing all the new cameras. Can you change how frequently you see them?

You can, choice between all cam or pitcher/batter only.
Normally when choosing highreel frequency they should only appear in key moment but as mentioned this isn’t the case, they come up ever at bat which i do not want.

So i switched to rarely and now i don’t see them at al.
I need to mess with this a bit more.

Nope still there. You can see it 100% of the time in the RTTS infield fielding view, note the coaching and batter’s box chalk lines as well:

As others have said, im also glad they really touch gameplay and just fixed some wonky animations. The big one for me was the PA announcer.

About this (and I saw the screenshots over on Show Nation, I'm guessing you posted them here as well):

Do these dotted lines clear up when you get closer to the foul lines? It seems to me like these are actually jaggy lines due to no anti-aliasing (normally it's present on any textures, but when it's on a thin line shape you get something like this).

Also, if you happen to have a PS4 Pro and can turn on Supersampling, do that and try putting the in-game video option to Sharper. It's almost guaranteed to run extremely choppy (and probably unplayable), but I bet the lines look more like solid lines from a distance. At least it would clear up the issue of what this problem is.

Since patch release, it is no longer possible to play the game with a friend via shareplay.
Has the feature been disabled?

Always play a franchise with my buddy via Shareplay -.-

Since the patch I'm seeing way too many hits up the middle and to center field. Hit the pitcher twice in one game. The game speed seems faster too. Animations and the way the fielders throw seems way off to me

I have played maybe 8 games total and it the majority of my hits have been up the middle, and I have hit the pitcher 3 times. none of the pitchers came out of the game, even though one got hit right in the head.

edit: just tested by going into replay, and the lines get dotted as you go further, and you can reproduce 100%.

Here is a video I took so you can see how ugly the foul/batter/coaching lines are in motion. Check the end especially when it shows the score at the end of the inning. It's worse when the dots along the line appear to be moving like that:

edit: went back and tried the same thing in 18 and it happens there as well (tho perhaps not quite as badly) so it probabaly won’t be fixed. I guess the new pre-pitch cams make it stand out more, plus I only played a pitcher in 18’s RTTS, so I didn’t see how bad it was in the fielding and baserunning cams.
