The no influence swing is the ideal swing for low vision power hitters.

For example, my #5 guy crushes using the no influence swing. He's your prototypical #5 guy, lots of power, but strikes out a lot. Before I discovered the effects of the no influence swing, I was about ready to give up on him. After discovering it, he's become a key part of my lineup.

    Ok, that wasn't so short.

The point that I'm trying to make is, if you don't use choose an influence every swing, you're locking yourself in to one style of swinging and denying yourself the benefits of the others.

So what you're saying is that you're basically always better off holding the stick in a random direction rather than just hitting a button to swing?

IMO the real problem is when you are dead last , not next to last . and dead last by A LOT . nothing wrong when you are at least ahead of somebody lol

What level do you play on? I never aim at all, all center swings, never use the power button. Playing on AS right now.

Agree with your #5 hitter theory.

I couldn’t hit at all with Teoscar Hernandez until I stopped trying to influence the ball.

I have hit plenty of homeruns just using X. I also have 4k tv in game mode on a PS4 PRO. I dont push up, left or right just simply hitting X.

Umm no, that's not at all what I'm saying. Not even a little bit.

Every swing type has positives and negatives. It's pretty intuitive to learn, but if you're not going to bother than you're probably better off just pressing the button then selecting random swings at random times.
