Anyway, my point is that there will likely be a story in next year's game regarding Pete Alonso's single-season rookie HR record. What I'd prefer is if they had some dialogue in the game that was ready to talk about that for any player who obtains it.

Of course, given the state the game is in with DD probably being the main focus, I'm not sure how much commentary is focused toward franchise progression anyway.

It's not just that. I know everyone points to his walk-off home run yells, but just his natural conversation.

And not only that-that, but this game also just mixes the audio a little too warm compared to that of a real baseball game broadcast, where treble is amped up a lot more.

As long as they don't mix it like a Sunday Night Baseball broadcast though, I'm not going to bitch too much.

Would require a lot more storage, but anything they could do works for me...

I was actually wondering if people really do this. Is there a game where people mod the game commentary, or put their own in? If so, I'd love to see a YouTube video on that.

I certainly do hope this game makes it on PC when they expand to other consoles, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

Well they use to be able to put their own commentary in games in the early 00s. it all depends on the structure of the files. and encryption I guess. but also in order not to crash the game I am sure the commentary files would have to be the same length. so if you were to put your own in from others broadcasters it would be a lot of work grabbing similar phases and editing to get exact time

but having someone like sounds of the show on PC that would make that unlimited.
