Fellas, when you create a league and under team management where u would send friends invites there should be a option to use USER/CPU the old setting was AI all to CPU.

The other thing you can do is say u have your main PSN name with your paid PSN.

any other name u make on your PS4 would be free to play online. You can put up to 14 names on your PS4. All you half to do is create your league with your main PSN name then invite your other psn names u create to that league for how many teams u decide to have in your league.

It takes a few mins to get it setup but it will be possible to setup something for yourself or just a few friends and rest CPU or extra PSN names.

For the record I've done this on Madden CFM and I've done it on MLB the show 14-17 online franchise. I dont see it being any different on 20.


* My thoughts on the stream is no custom rosters, no free agents, no progression or a way to edit players within the mode or even use any type of created players is a shame.

I prefer playing with friends and like minded FAIR PLAY individuals and ran leagues for years and always kept things realistic and close to real life as possible. What they put together I was excited for at first but now seeing this so called "Custom League" that's a slap in the face of what we once had.

Highly disappointed and looks like I will continue to play franchise with friends using share-play to enjoy a real life schedule my own custom rosters and get to use broadcast to enjoy full presentation, rookie draft, all star game, rule 5 draft etc...all kinds of stats, real MLB records team stats, player stats, free agents and can edit whatever I want.

No custom rosters and no divisions are particularly disappointing. Hope they get this straightened out on the next generation of consoles.

They never mentioned if we get the updated MLB roster rules for custom leagues.

I'm curious to see if this is the way it was in past leagues 25 man roster thsn the other 15 players in AAA or is every team in league at full 40 on every game?

So I'm guessing no 26 man or 27 man rosters for this. I wish they had touched on this.

Also disappointed if theres no division like the real MLB American league East, Central and West same for National league. Just makes no sense we had more before why "BURN IT DOWN" and start completely over?

I just wish they had taken 17 online franchise and figured a way to implement some of this stuff for the DD crowd but also fix the known issues 17 online franchise had would have been so much better than this bare bones softball league setup.

Guys, this is lame as lame can get. SDS just keeps letting us down. They truly hate offline players

I have different perspective, dont feel let down at all, or hated either. sure, there is a different direction I wish Sony would let the developers take franchise to but all in all I'm good, and glad I'll be able to start a season right away, no waiting, with real minor leaguers. also glad with classic historical rosters I'll be able to have the California Angels, and the Expos in the league. little thing for sure, but the little things are one of the major reasons I enjoy the Show

They never said you couldn’t start with CPU teams.. they also never said you could.

The only real downer I heard was MLB live rosters update during your league. Meaning players can get the benefits but not the negatives (movement).

I am going to mess around with it on13th. I bought the MVP edition digital. I own 15-20 now on digital.

I think 1 idea I have should work if that's the case. Over the years I made extra PSN names to help keep my baseball and football leagues filled or to use to prevent CPU on Madden to not make any crazy roster moves etc.

So I can create a custom league fill it up with these extra PSN names then quit league with them and see if this will work for CPU taking over these teams.

I watched the twitch stream live and people were flooding the comments asking for it (as well as fantasy draft) so it’s not like this is a fringe feature that only a few would use. Seems really strange that they overlooked it in the development process. I’d love to hear their reasoning for not including this.

Assumedly you could just login with the dummies on the primary console of your main account to get online access, join league, quit once it’s going and then they’ll be CPU.

As an offline only player that means the mode is worthless to me. That is a shame because it would be an extra way to use my DD team beyond Conquest games.
