SDS: Patch in Franchise Schedule?
Can SDS patch in a franchise schedule once something is finalized (May or June start)?

Personally, I think Passan’s reporting was too optimistic. There’s no way that we’re going to have baseball before what would’ve been the ASB if we even have it at all.PSN: lxl_Porta_lxl

I honestly don’t see any way that we have baseball next month. I honestly don’t expect there to be any season at all this year. Of course, I’ve been wrong before.Comment

If ever there was a season to stop worrying about comparing a video game to real life, this is the one.Play the games you love, not the games you want to love.Comment

Re: SDS: Patch in Franchise Schedule?
I really doubt they’d patch franchise to fix the schedule into being shorter. They usually wait until next years game to make any change in franchise.
I do wish we would get the ability to choose season length again tho!Comment

Re: SDS: Patch in Franchise Schedule?
This is why I wish there was a season mode. I cannot get into franchise this year. I just have no desire to pound out 162 with how stale their mode is.
I highly doubt they can patch in a schedule that matches real life, when/if the time ever comes. It just seems like it’s not possible given how rigid their schedule seems to be coded into the game.Comment

but on the flip-side, I could use a 100 game schedule to finally replay the 1981 season in a slightly more accurate fashion.OSFM23 - Building Better Baseball - OSFM23

Re: SDS: Patch in Franchise Schedule?
I just hope this forces the hands of SDS to have shortened seasons in franchise. for the love of god no one has 162 games worth of time let alone patience, and no MTO is NOT the answer. Its fine as a mode but isnt the same as controlling every game. 50 games 30 games whatever works just something shorter please !!Comment

Re: SDS: Patch in Franchise Schedule?
au contraire mon frère. delayed gratification is tenfold better than instant gratification. but when I want to get done with a season in a short amount of time I play 54 games of a season (every third game) and sim the other 108. I'm aware there are those that want to play every at-bat and pitch of all 1400+ innings of a season and that's fine too. sometimes I do that myself. but a 54 game season gives you plenty enough chance to leave a meaningful impact on your team's performance and is ample time to get them to October or leave them hanging till next March. 54 is perfect for a short season IMO because IRL 99% of teams are going to win 54 no matter what and lose 54 no matter what. that's baseball. it's how well you play in the other 54 that matter most.PSN: Dalton1985
