Did everything get harder in Franchise? Ive been on All star and been on a roll and since the update I can't hit. Shutout twice.

It's just a slump. I've had the opposite going on, I've been on a roll.

Yeah, I remember hearing that as well, when it comes to building a ball park from scratch. But fixing something like Miller Park, shouldn't be too difficult. NBA2k does court updates thru patches, so I would assume SCEA has that ability as well.

SDS has already fixed the Wrigley Field Ivy color this year...

This team is doing way too much to this game me thinks. For some reason it appears they need "selling points" each year and keep adding and adding. I swear, I have no desire to even go near any mode other than franchise, but here we are every year. The developers have their marching orders.

I honestly think this is perfectly stated. The team gets orders from the higher ups to add selling points, it's business 101. Why would anyone buy the same game year in and year out? There has to be differences to the game. The thing is, the differences used to be in the form of franchise gameplay enhancements, but now that their biggest moneymaker is diamond dynasty, obviously the powers that be have a focus on maximizing their revenue stream and so they adhere to the requests of that demographic.

What kills me is that the gameplay from a few years ago was, in my opinion, better than it is now. It seems with every new iteration the gameplay gets more and more bogged down, which leads to new issues rearing their heads, and that's where I think the team is just doing too much.

At this point, I feel they need to focus solely on improving the engine itself, but sadly that isn't where the money is so they'll continue focusing on DD. It is what it is at this point.

Those slumps are hell! Rolling one week, next thing I've lost 7 of 8 games. If this happens vs the big 4 - LAD, Boston, NYY, Hou I am never surprised. Those lineups can be brutal on high settings. Want to kill Justin Turner & Luke Voit on occasion.

Anyone else notice that the pci definitely seems a touch smaller in this update than from 1.11?

has anyone else experienced more of fielders casually fielding routing pop flies on a bounce? this has happened to me in DD 5-10 times this past week. maybe it's just me bugging..!

Ok.. relief pitcher stats don't show up in the MLB network theme anymore. And "starting lineup" prompt keeps appearing in the top corner aswell. Didn't have this problem before the patch..

I haven’t paid attention. Since patch my offense has taken quite a dip. I just chalk it up to me being in a slump though.

I've played 5 games and my friend have played 7. The patch, in my opinion, absolutely changed gameplay. The PCI isn't as big anymore since patch 1.11. I had to readjust my sliders.

I’ve been happy with contact on 4 till now. I’m going to give it a bigger sample size but I may have to go back to default. I play on HOF

I play legend. I have to move contact to 4 after patch 1.11. After patch 1.12 I had to move it back to 5.
