New Update Messed Up Gameplay

After the last update, when I turned on the game at the title screen it wanted me to choose beginner or expert and select a team. Also when I played a game, the camera angles were changed, baserunning was on auto, nearly everything hit was a popup or fly out to the outfield. I had to go back and change everything. This also happened to me after I downloaded the final update to MLB 16 the show. Anyway to fix this or do I have to adjust sliders or what?

In my experience with The Show about once a year all my settings get reset at some point. It's a hassel for sure trying to get everything back to where I like them. On the bright side sometimes I find a setting I enjoy that I hadn't tried before.

It happened to a bunch of people, myself included after the last update. I manually fixed mine but others said they ended up going back to normal.

Can you sign into PSN?

I had mine do something similar about a week or two ago and it turned out I needed to sign the new PSN agreement. Once I did that, everything was fine.

I'll say me three. Like you 405Cowboy, my last half-dozen games since the the update has resulted in the same hitting patterns. Timing is way off, even good contact is resulting in softly hit balls. It actually feels like I'm playing whiffleball. Weird.

I signed into the PSN and agreed to the new agreement and that seemed to do the trick as now it's back to normal. I had to change camera view, turn off auto base running, hitting ability etc but could still use the sliders I created before the update.
