I doubt that's the case. I know there has been issues with the vault not working. Besides that, the game is playing amazing offline imo. They've been having non-stop server problems since early release (over 8 days straight), so I'm not surprised. They had to create a daily "Server Issue mega-thread" on Reddit due to so many complaints b/c the online components have been unplayable 95% of the time since and that's not an exaggeration.
People losing cards and/or stubs when trying to list on the marketplace. Completing moments and/or Showdown challenges, only to get hit w/ an "unhandled server issue has occurred" message when returning to the DD main menu and not counting those moments as completed and disqualifying them from earning rewards from completed Showdown objectives... thus screwing people out of hundreds of thousands of earned stubs in the process.
The offline community likely hasn't noticed a thing, but the online community has been getting hammered. Worst of all, they've refused to give any likely reason why the issues are happening nor a timeline when they may be fixed. Even customer service reps have been responding to emails w/ "We're not allowed to comment" when asked specifically. It's been a ****-show, no pun intended.

I was speaking more in regards to highly persistent server issues likely being the main reason the game was temporarily pulled from the PS Store.
I doubt they would ever pull the game for intentional exclusion of certain features like SOTS, general bugs, and/or offline players having trouble downloading rosters from the vault.
But the vast majority of online players being constantly screwed out of any and all online play and/or stubs b/c they've been having server meltdowns since early release? Now that I can see.Comment

If you log in to the PlayStation store on the web the title shows unavailable if you have already purchased it. If you log out of the site then the prices and the buy button will show up.Comment

Been playing MLB The Show since 2008 and this has to be the buggiest release I can remember. It's like Cyberpunk 2077 all over again. Well maybe not, but it's still pretty bad.Comment

Its because the game is full of bugs and it got pulled just like cyberpunk. The game is a disgrace. No matter how people try to say its playing good, blah blah blah, everyone can see the major complaints.
The dev team litterally drop the ball, there human, but now they have bigger problems because when your product has to be pulled that speaks volumes and it really looks bad on the company..
They got greedy plan and simple instead of riding the wave that got them there all these years, they decide to catch that one big tsunami and look what its gotten them.
Yeah you had day one sales, but now the game can't even be purchased and where are the devs now? They were all hype about the game, now you can't find a single one to explain this mess.
MLB The Show 20. Is The Best Product on the market right now, next to the real thing and as I've said in the past, they can't mess that up and its fully patched to, so good luck for 21 owners yall gone need it. Do we know if it was pulled off the Microsoft Xbox store or whatever it is called? I can't see them pulling a first party game off of the store or just on one. Cyberpunk was not a first party game but I don't want to argue about this. I don't see it happening. I would imagine it is more a part of their server issues if anything.
The sad thing is that it plays a very solid game on the field. I am likely just going to turn my internet off on my PS5 and get past the annoying server issues that slow down player editing and end of game because it is looking for a server signal.
The roster vault thing is ridiculous at this point.Funkycorm

You don’t own the game and you saw it delisted? Seems very much like we’re just pointing to the “unavailable” that shows up for any game you already own that come with multiple editions. I own like 30 games that show as unavailable in the store. Zero evidence this game was delisted. “It was for a second bro I swear.” Ok.Just one man’s opinion.
