Update the game to more like today's baseball. Get rid of the pitch out, lower complete games, tone down the overly done bouncing ground rule doubles, etc.

I was actually just looking at complete games in my franchise. There have been 7 so far this year, in my franchise it’s June 11 and in just the NL there have been 28.

I think I've posted this before but I don't believe Sony has a lack of ideas for an improved Show

what the Studio needs are ideas on how to incorporate their ideas in an economical fashion.

I was actually just looking at complete games in my franchise. There have been 7 so far this year, in my franchise it’s June 11 and in just the NL there have been 28.

I'm not through April in one franchise (default sliders) and I already seen 7 (one against me) and I can't get my starters through 6 innings lol.

- Fix AI bullpen and lineup logic. There’s no reason this hasn’t been repaired yet. AI trade/free agency logic seems better but still has ways to go.

- Bad contracts should be almost unmovable unless you take back another one.

- Completely redo the uniform/logo creator. Basically, rip off 2K’s system.

- Retired players become managers and coaches. And while I’m at it, contract extensions for staff.

- More season-long elbow injuries for pitchers. It sucks, but it’s a part of life in baseball.

- Detailed franchise histories… like in 2K.

- It’s a very small thing, but after the first season use generic uniforms for the all-star game. This season is ok because the Dodgers-based sets are timeless, but it’s not like that every year.

- AI bullpen logic and lineup/ positions as stated above.

- Rehab assignments

- I also think there should be some process in Franchise if you want to take somebody from a starter to long reliever or bullpen and vice versa.

- Also, some process if you want to develop a secondary position for someone. I feel like Pro Evolution Soccer had it in the past that the more you play someone at a position, the more they learn it.

Stadium Builder needs an upload feature for custom art. Imagine playing at vintage Fenway with Ted Williams in left and an ad for Moxie Cola right behind him?? If they want to up their game on different periods in baseball, this is a must. As is era-specific equipment.

Because Diamond Dynasty has made me all but forget about Franchise Mode, I really want to see uniform editing brought into DD. Playing with Jazz's 90 card in Asics just hurts my feelings. Or wanting to see Acuna in his 100% shades. I just want to be able to control how my cards look since I spend so much time playing with them.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but one thing I'd love to see in the game is the ability to double up the CPU on line drives. Not all the time, but sometimes, where appropriate. RBI baseball did it in the 80's it can be done in the Show!

For DD;

They need to un-nerf starting pitcher stamina for the challenges, or just block them out entirely.

As it is, I roll out 3 unhittable relievers. May as well let me ride with Randy Johnson or Greg Maddux.

It’s gotta be said this presentation remains pretty bad in franchise mode. They stopped showing the score-by-innings graphic to start the 8th, they stopped showing the defensive alignment intro, they took out showing the SP’s final line, and the announcers say absolutely nothing about standings and very little about stats.

So much wasted time, lines about how someone is good on defense and that’s why he’s in the lineup or droning on endlessly about umpires every game, my god just talk about how the hitter is hitting (or not) and give some stats. Why is so hard for people to see why one gets repetitive and one does not?

The ticker & stats in the pop-up box on The Show package are pretty awesome. The rest of this presentation is stuck in 2008.

Gates isn't on the board at Microsoft anymore, and I believe he only owns like 1% of the company these days.
