I've been playing MLB The Show since 2018 but only RTTS. I've never even tried to play any of the other parts of MLB The Show. I have played RTTS on 2018,19 and 20 but I like 2020 better than the other years. I bought 2022 but didn't like it compared to 2020 so I keep playing RTTS on MLB The Show 2020.
That's a bit of info about how I play but are my questions.
I'd like to play online against another person but I don't know how. Do you have to use the dynasty mode?
However you do play against others online what settings are used? I am used to the basic settings so if I am planning on playing online I would have to practice other settings.
In RTTS you are responsible for one player, if you are playing online do you have to play each player as you do in NHL 2020 ( it seemed confusing when I would have the puck and pass it to another player I then became the other player and had to be ready to continue playing) I'm wondering if that is how MLB The Show online works as well, I would be playing whatever player needed to make a play.
For anyone who has never read a post from me I'm 66 years old just trying to play the sports games I have always loved. Getting use to PS4 and each game is was and still is very confusing. I don't understand why games don't give instructions on how a game is played, seems like it's a game in it's self just learning how to play a game.
