Ok so take the 8 run game (and home runs in that game) out what’s the math there? Again that doesn’t excuse 0 home runs no power etc

Scores look pretty close to the Yankees last 5 games run output.

Hitting is definitely broken. I use all star difficulty with the yankees. Got all these power guys and used all three hitting inputs…and the ball just goes nowhere. My last 5 games i’ve scored 1 8 1 3 and 2 runs. Only hit 3 home runs. The amount of weak contact i get…regardless of swing timing or input is unreal. Not only that the amount of infield fly outs with good timing i get…is bs. I noticed the pitch speeds are inconsistent af as well. The timing window is broken as well.

I noticed a lot of weak contact on good swings so I turned the difficulty down to veteran and now it’s playing how I’d expect

Same pretty much as if you took their 6 run game in real life out.

Looking at your posts I get you're all about complaining about this game in particular for whatever reason, but what you've presented here doesn't really support your argument hitting is broken. Also if hitting is broken why isn't it broken for everyone?

As soon as you put a controller in someone's hands, there are so many variables, that come in to play, especially when it comes to hitter/pitcher representation. Pitch selection, skill level, managing counts, hot/cold streaks, fatigue, etc. come in to play.

To your point yes might be playing at the wrong skill level for where his game is now.

Problem is…it’s for the cpu and my difficulty for pitching is on legend….in addition power is at 6 for user n cpu power and contact are still non existent

Because I disagree with you does not make me argumentative. I was responding to someone, meanwhile you come here to tell me im being argumentative as to begin an argument with me?

As more people keep coming on here to say they are experiencing different things post patch, more of you are telling us to play more games But anyhow I have nothing more to say here. I HAVE been experiencing changes post patch like many here, had to adjust sliders and I'm good now. If you haven't experienced changes, that's awesome too. Even better.

That's the exact opposite of the previous post complaining about hitting being broken that you posted.

Same here. I had to up cpu power to 7 and if that's not working for you, I have also tinkered with lowering my pitcher control and consistency. Makes me throw more mistake pitches for the cpu to crush. I also play with no pitch marker or strike zone. You can also take off vibration. These just introduce more human error to your pitching to allow for the cpu to feast a little more.

Same here. I had to up cpu power to 7 and if that's not working for you, I have also tinkered with lowering my pitcher control and consistency. Makes me throw more mistake pitches for the cpu to crush.

I play clean screen pitching on Legend. I set CPU contact and power to 6 and my pitch accuracy and consistency at 4. CPU has been pretty good so far.

Be careful with pitch consistency, not only will it get you more meatballs, but also more wild pitches, hit batters etc. Anything below 4 and I started drilling to many hitters way out of the zone.

Meter pitching…and timing hitting. I’ve used timing last year and had no issues. This year is horrific
