First off, I haven't played this game in years and decided to by '23. Very impressed and liking it. I'm playing a lot of the modes to learn how to play and get better. I'm playing the 'March to October' mode. I have throwing set to "auto" and also use buttons.
However, when I try and pick off a guy on base, I suddenly get this slow-mo effect and a target I have to line up before pressing "R2". Maybe I'm getting old, but it's not an easy thing to use. Is there a way to turn this off?? It surprised me because I thought I had the button throw on so I got an error from this.
UPDATE: Think I found the setting to turn this off.
