The clock might only pop up after a certain time.

I’d say it looks quite a bit different than 23. It’s got a nice NBC Sports feel to it.

Look closer at the beginning. It's there, it just disappears when the step off happens.

Unfortunately, this could not even more of the exact same game.

I wonder if they kept the regional themes in? Seems like a lot of work to take out after 1 year so I assume they are. But I seem to remember The Show theme having The Show on the score bug.

I notice the clock digits are a bit hard to tell its at 0:03 with the font used, and its not in yellow as i see clocks go with. not complaining just old eyes so hoping its not hard to read once its on the t.v. Pretty cool if this is actually going to penalize as per mlb rules. on a side note one of the screenshots had the basecoach from torontos Febles name on the back of the jerseys...just never noticed if this has alawys been in the game. ( id assume so but playing as NY im not used to seeing it. Would be great if they had bench coaches, allowing u to argue a call and get thrown out, in which case the stats of the bench coach may impact the game from said point, and also the team rallying point from said coach being tossed.

It would be strange to have a pitch clock in and nothing happens if it expires. I think in that case I'd rather they not waste time half-assing it. Either do it right, or don't do it.

Agree that would be silly if it was purely cosmetic. But that also means it likely took very little time to add lol.

I look at the pitch clock and its enforcement the same as I do the "umpire missed calls/challenges" feature (I mean the reviews at 1st - HR reviews are done with a cutscene independent of the challenge mechanic) - it's only going to be functional towards the user unless there is extra AI coding for that not to be the case. Since the CPU cannot benefit from reviewing a play at 1st, I see it as an unfair advantage for me to do so and turn the feature off, making all calls correct (which is the end result IRL so long as the replay officials in New York do their job - sadly not true 100% of the time)

This pitch clock situation is the reverse, but it's the same basic idea - the cpu is not going to get dinged by the pitch clock unless there is coding to cause it to sometimes happen. Therefore the clock can only work against me as the user. Assuming these things are actually correct when the game launches, that is why I will turn it off if given the option when playing vs cpu.

Maybe that is the regional theme.
