Hard to say without most knowing what you care about the most when it comes to the game. The franchise updates were minimal but people are saying the graphics in some areas look better. It really is hard to say, Franchise people some have said yes we will go to 24 some have said no we put too much time into 23.

If you want to keep with the pitch clock and disengagement rules for the immersion update, it may be worth it. I love franchise, and that's where I put most of the time on this series. I updated mainly for the rules/bases. Seems silly, but I like to keep up with little stuff like that.

I was torn on whether to start over or not, yet again, but decided to get ‘24 and I’m glad I did.

A lot of subtle changes to gameplay, presentation, and even franchise that have made me glad I chose to start again.

What changes to franchise have you noticed? I also heard they removed the franchise radio update which had its flaws but at least added to the immersion .. really sucks now there is nothing that provides an update of what’s going on around the league

I feel like guys are looking for subtleties at this point. Pretty close to 23, in my opinion. If you have the extra money and don’t mind spending it, then I’d say go for it, otherwise, it’s not much of a change, sadly.

For rules changes (Pitch clock, pitcher disengagement, etc.) I say yes. I also am a big fan of having rosters with preloaded injuries to start my franchise with as well.

Of course I'm a mark because I get it every year anyway, even when I'm not happy with the lack of improvements in a given year.

Well they added the Prospect Promotion Incentive and Awards on Players Cards which we were told during the stream.

But they have added some things not talked about in the stream such as they expanded the Top Prospects Rankings to include a players bats/throws and MLB ETA. They also expanded it to now show the Top 20 Organizational Prospects for each club. They've added new pop-ups on the score ticker that show a prospects ranking in the MLB and organizationally.

This is just thru 9 Spring Training games, so I don't know if the scroll ticker has new information or not, since its not displayed during ST games.

It may also be worth to upgrade for the new simulation options (start in a certain inning, etc.)

Wow that’s actually a lot of cool stuff. They really should have talked it up more. Had I known any of this was in there I probably would have been less critical

I think the prospects integration would be dope if the character creation model engine was on the same page as Madden 24 or NBA 2k! The gap is still so far between what you can create vs scanned players. So to me the visuals just are not there yet!

I do have one design in mind that should have been implemented by the studio long ago. I have yet to get around too it but when I do and I will post it I'm sure all fans of the game will go crazy for it and I can see them implementing it in the next version. Just need to get around to building the UI for it!

I think the best way to put this.

If money is tight and you have better use for the money, SAVE IT, Game is nowhere near better enough to justify the money.

If you have cash to spare, then go for it

Has the sim stats engine been changed? (bullpen innings and appearance issues & too many SP shutouts if you don't alter the sliders)

                            and

For the Draft can you control all 32 teams like 2022 or is it messed up like last year's game where you can only control one user team?

                            Thanks for any help!

So far just one game in to franchise, but it plays on the field much better than it did at release last year on HOF pitching and hitting. Going to start game 2 soon.
