When starting a franchise this late in the year what does everyone do?

With all the issues with this years game (As far as custom leagues go online) I tried to play as is but just to many eye sore glaring issues to overcome. I came up with my own work arounds but still a lot of frustrations with all the things we half to deal with. Anyways was wondering if you were to start a franchise as of Today what would you do?

    1. Start day 1 and play every game, every pitch and every at bat and just continue playing all the way through no matter how long it takes me.

    2. Sim games up until Maybe July 1, 2024 and just take over from there. (In a custom league I can actually give win and loss for all the teams and it would at least be the real life MLB standings. It just would take a while to sim each game doing this method)

    3. Wait until game is fully functioning properly and start there jsut like I normally would if it was when the game came out.

I have not bought this years game and likely will not. I'm a single player, offline franchise player, and didn't see a single thing that would be different or better from 23 than warranted the purchase. I'm going to take it year to year from here on, and I'll eventually buy a new one when they add enough, or fix enough in franchise to make it meaningful. I also haven't bought the game at launch since 2020, skipping 2021, buying 2022 in the Autumn for $20, and then 2023 mid Summer for $30.

But to the main question, any and every time that I start a franchise, I start at the beginning and work my way forward. Sometimes I sim all of the games and do the GM work for a year, or even two or three, to have fun building a team up. But if and when I do play games, its always every pitch starting on Opening Day.

Anyone who claims to be a fan of two teams in the same pro sport is actually a fan of none.
